  • Digital Wallet and credentials are increasingly vital in daily life. Enabling people in NSW to verify their identity safely and seamlessly is one of our key priorities. Our digital service team participated in the discussion and exchanged valuable insights at the International Identify and Verifiable Credentials 2024 (IVC 24) summit and interoperability event last month. We showcased how the NSW Digital Wallet and its credentials can seamlessly interoperate with global technology and government systems by designing to a common standard. By aligning with national and international standards, people in NSW will be able to use the Digital Wallet and credentials in other Australian states, territories, and around the globe. You can read more about how you will be able to use the NSW Digital Wallet in the future at https://lnkd.in/g8RWiF9g #DigitalCredential #DigitalIdentity

  • Over the past several months, a dedicated team from Service NSW has been working hard to prepare the roll out of the Service NSW Aboriginal Hub Day in selected towns including Ashmont, Quirindi, Coonabarabran, Gilgandra, Condobolin, Walget, Kempsey and Coonamble for one day in November and early December. This is vital to ensure increased support for Aboriginal people in locations where the dedicated Mobile Service Centre “Kangaroo Bus” does not reach.  Service NSW team members will be able to provide customers with a range of information such as how to apply for a driver licence or Seniors Card, where to find savings and rebates to reduce the cost of living, and how to access to online government services. Other government agencies will be available at certain locations depending on demand to provide further specialised assistance.   #AboriginalHubDay #CommunitySupport

  • Meet Carmine, the proud owner of Nonna’s Gourmet Rolls and Pasta in southwest Sydney.  He’s your man for coffee, pastries, gourmet rolls or a steaming plate of linguine boscaiola.  But when it came to launching and operating his food truck business, Carmine needed a little extra help. That’s where Louisa from the Service NSW Business Bureau came in.  In Carmine’s words:  “Before we met Louisa, we were struggling with the processes involved to get our food truck approved and operating.   “She helped us expedite the process and referred us to a number of free government services that have benefited our business.  “A year on, and we are still working with Louisa and can’t thank her enough for her ongoing support and for treating us like humans. Our relationship will continue for many years to come.   “She is an asset to the Service NSW Business Bureau.”  If you’re a business owner in NSW who wants personalised support from a team who is passionate about supporting the business community, call 13 77 88 or learn more at: https://lnkd.in/gVzmahkP
