Celebrating and Recognising Our Cleaning Team Members—Thank You! To all our Millennium cleaning colleagues, thank you for everything you do to create clean, safe, and memorable places for our customers and their customers. At Millennium, our People come first!

This time last year during National Reconciliation Week, we had not long just launched our Innovate RAP (2023-2025). One year on, this week as well as taking the opportunity to reflect on shared history and achievements and the challenges we still have with advancing outcomes for First Peoples; we are also reflecting on the progress we've made so far on our RAP. Key achievements so far: -Hundreds of the team are proudly wearing the RAP badges and ID card lanyards we created to celebrate the launch of our RAP and our commitment to reconciliation. -Millennium is a Supply Nation member. This involves a financial contribution to a national organisation that exists to support indigenous businesses by connecting them with potential buyers like Millennium and a commitment to look for buying opportunities and record our spend with Indigenous businesses. -We are working with our Indigenous Business Partner, Codee Cleaning Services (Indigenous owned and managed) to supply clients (asset owners and managers) with toilet paper. A major client in WA has begun purchasing already. -We continue to work closely with Codee on business opportunities for mutual benefit, including bidding for business together. We have proudly dual branded some uniforms, marketing collateral and vehicles to promote our relationship. In the next year our top priorities are supporting indigenous business by purchasing from them; continuing our partnership with Codee; finding project to support to that will have an impact at an Indigenous community level (guided by Craig Grainer, Codee MD) and lifting cultural awareness of our team by providing cultural learning opportunities.  When it comes to reconciliation, we believe listening to understand and collaborating with other like-minded organisations is important, so please reach out if you have feedback or ideas. #nrw2024 #nowmorethanever Christopher Zyner (GAICD) Jacques Dujardin

Last week Millennium attended the Property Council of Australia (PCA) Inaugural 2024 Queensland People in Property Awards. It was a fantastic evening celebrating the outstanding contributions and achievements of professionals in industry and showcasing the excellence and passion driving the sector. Last week, as part of World FM Day celebrations, Millennium Commercial Contract Analyst, Max Wright (pictured on right- with specs) joined a Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA) `Back of House` tour of the Perth Zoo. Tours like this arranged by the FMA State chapters provide a very popular industry networking and learning opportunity. The tour was led by Zoo staff with decades of knowledge and experience operating the Zoo and gave insight into the design, operation, health, safety, security and logistics challenges of maintaining such a unique facility. TreeProject is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to revegetating Victoria, one seedling at a time. They host planting days from Autumn through to Spring across various beautiful countryside locations in Victoria. TreeProject gets urban and rural communities working together to put trees back on the land. Millennium recently made a donation to help support this awesome project.
