We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Christopher O'Keefe, Chief Operating Officer at Match & Wood, for his contribution over the past four years as an MFA Board director. It’s a double welcome today for our newest Media Coordinators in the Melbourne office! 🙌 In the last few weeks Mackenzie Jones finished her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne AND started her media career at Match & Wood, proving she can multi-task with the best of them. Hailing from country NSW, Mackenzie moved to Melbourne to pursue a career in communications and is off to a flying start. She is also our resident bartender, dirty gin martini expert, and diehard Swans fan ❤️ Angela Deng has a background in art history and a Masters in Art Curatorship… and whilst they remain an inspiration in her life, she has jumped head-first into the world of communications and found her calling! Recently our team in Perth/Boorloo had the incredible opportunity to engage in a Yarning & Painting session with local artist Justin Martin from Djurandi Dreaming. During the session we explored Whadjuk Nyungar Boodja country, delving into the connection between the natural environment and traditional art, including its symbols, colours, and language. The canvas we co-created beautifully represents the national Match & Wood team, along with our valued clients and media partners, symbolised by rivers flowing into a central core. We also added a special touch; what appear to be birds in flight are actually the letters M & W ❤️ The canvas is out for framing and we can't wait to put it on display, amazing work team!!
