5 Website Tips EVERY Business Owner Needs to Know 👇 1️⃣ Make it easy to contact you, including contact buttons on every scroll. This may sound like an obvious one, but you wouldn't believe how many websites that come our way for optimisation that don't have call buttons or contact buttons in their navigation bar, or it takes forever scrolling to find a way to reach them! Make it easy for people. 2️⃣ Use real-life photos of your work and team, avoiding stock images wherever possible. Trust is everything when getting people to use your business or buy your products. Let them see who is providing that service or exactly what that product looks like, including close-ups and various angles. 3️⃣ Ensure you have enough content on your pages to build trust and authority. For you to claim those non-paid top spaces on Google, you need to show you're the expert on that topic. What is it? Why do people need it? How do they use it? Why you? This doesn't just help with your search engine optimisation, but gives people all the information they need when they visit your site, giving them less need to go elsewhere. 4️⃣ Create a page for each distinct product, service and package you offer. This one ties into tip 3 and search engine optimisation a little. The more specific your pages can be and the content on them, and the more refined the keywords targeted, the 'easier' it will be to claim your digital space and make it super easy to help people find what they're looking. 5️⃣ Add social proof, like testimonials, case studies and portfolios, to build trust. Why should people use you? YOU know why you're good and they should, but don't make people have to go to your social media accounts to see photos or go looking for reviews.
