5 Website Tips EVERY Business Owner Needs to Know 👇 1️⃣ Make it easy to contact you, including contact buttons on every scroll. This may sound like an obvious one, but you wouldn't believe how many websites that come our way for optimisation that don't have call buttons or contact buttons in their navigation bar, or it takes forever scrolling to find a way to reach them! Make it easy for people. 2️⃣ Use real-life photos of your work and team, avoiding stock images wherever possible. Trust is everything when getting people to use your business or buy your products. Let them see who is providing that service or exactly what that product looks like, including close-ups and various angles. 3️⃣ Ensure you have enough content on your pages to build trust and authority. For you to claim those non-paid top spaces on Google, you need to show you're the expert on that topic. What is it? Why do people need it? How do they use it? Why you? This doesn't just help with your search engine optimisation, but gives people all the information they need when they visit your site, giving them less need to go elsewhere. 4️⃣ Create a page for each distinct product, service and package you offer. This one ties into tip 3 and search engine optimisation a little. The more specific your pages can be and the content on them, and the more refined the keywords targeted, the 'easier' it will be to claim your digital space and make it super easy to help people find what they're looking. 5️⃣ Add social proof, like testimonials, case studies and portfolios, to build trust. Why should people use you? YOU know why you're good and they should, but don't make people have to go to your social media accounts to see photos or go looking for reviews. Make it as clear as day why you're who they should choose. Website not getting results? We build websites starting from $5,000, created to help your business level up. 🌟 The Importance of a Good Website for Your Business 🌟 In the digital age, a good website is no longer a luxury; it’s a necessity. Your website is often the first point of contact between your business and potential customers. Here’s why having a well-designed, functional website is crucial for your business success: First Impressions Matter: Your website is your online storefront. It’s the first place potential customers visit to learn about your business. A professional, user-friendly website creates a positive first impression and builds trust with your audience. 24/7 Accessibility: Unlike a physical store, your website is accessible around the clock. It allows customers to learn about your products or services, make purchases, and contact you at any time, providing convenience and increasing your business’s reach. Credibility and Professionalism: A well-designed website conveys credibility and professionalism. It shows that you are serious about your business and committed to providing value to your customers. This can significantly influence purchasing decisions and foster trust. Effective Communication: Your website serves as a platform to communicate with your audience. It’s a place where you can share your story, showcase your offerings, and provide valuable information. Regular updates and engaging content keep your audience informed and engaged. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO): A good website is optimised for search engines, making it easier for potential customers to find you online. Higher visibility in search results drives more traffic to your site, leading to increased opportunities for conversions and sales. Customer Insights: With the right tools, your website can provide valuable insights into customer behaviour. Analytics can help you understand what your customers are looking for, how they interact with your site, and where improvements can be made. This data is invaluable for refining your marketing strategies. Competitive Advantage: In today’s competitive market, a good website can set you apart from the competition. It provides a platform to highlight your unique value propositions and differentiate your brand. Investing in a good website is an investment in your business’s future. It enhances your online presence, drives growth, and helps you connect with your audience more effectively. Don't Get Left Behind: Why Your Business Needs an Online Presence 🚀 Let's have a real talk about something that's become essential in today's digital age: having a website for your business. I know, I know... You might be thinking, "But I'm a local business, and most of my customers find me through word-of-mouth or social media. Do I really need a website?" Well, let me put it this way: imagine you're a potential customer searching for a product or service you offer. Where's the first place you'd look? If you're like most people, you'd probably start with a good ol' Google search. And that's where having a website comes into play. Think of it as your digital storefront – a place where potential customers can learn about your business, your offerings, and what makes you stand out from the competition. But it's not just about being found online; a website can also help you: 💻 Establish credibility and professionalism (because let's face it, a well-designed website just looks legit) 💼 Showcase your work, products, or services in a visually appealing way 💬 Provide an easy way for customers to contact you or make purchases 📊 Gain valuable insights into your target audience's behavior and preferences Now, I know what you might be thinking: "But isn't building a website complicated and expensive?" Not necessarily! Thanks to user-friendly website builders and content management systems (like WordPress or Squarespace), creating a professional-looking website has become more accessible and affordable than ever before. So, whether you're a one-person operation or a well-established business, having a website is no longer a "nice-to-have" – it's a must-have. It's your chance to make a lasting impression, connect with your audience, and stay competitive in the digital age. Trust me, your future customers (and your bottom line) will thank you for it! #BusinessGrowth #DigitalMarketing #OnlinePresence #WebsiteDesign #WebDevelopment #BusinessStrategy #BrandVisibility #CustomerEngagement #ECommerce #SEO #Marketing #SmallBusiness #StartupTips #TechTrends #DigitalTransformation

My brand promise is simple: BE SEEN The purpose of your website can be one of two core reasons: 1) Somewhere for you to send traffic from email/social 2) To gain more visitors through SEO and digital marketing We take the same approach to the design and content of each reason, the main difference being whether you need ongoing work and management of your online presence to build your authority in search results to ensure you get the traffic you need to grow your sales and enquires. Fundamentally, your website needs to focus on converting visitors into customers and enquiries, regardless of the purpose. We need to understand your ideal client, the information they need to see in order for you to be seen as their only choice. We need to understand the right language to use within the content, and to understand what design and visual approach best targets their logic and emotions - because hitting both effectively is what places you as the best business for them to buy from or work with. As a digital marketing agency, our team is built from experts who know how to work together and make sure you are SEEN by the right people in the right places in the right way. It's why we don't take on websites built by someone else. It's why we believe the only way to get the results you desire is to allow us to work on all aspects of your website, content, SEO, and ongoing marketing. When all of these elements work together, we can do more. And our desire and focus is always to create something which meets your business goals, your own desires. We don't do web design. We create solutions to your problems - and we start by talking about your problems before we even start talking about price. Because price is not ever going to be a value factor - a £300 website is expensive if it returns nothing to you. A £30,000 website can be priceless if it gets you £100,000 of new business and grows that new business income year-on-year. I'm here to understand your problems and tell you how we can solve them. When you're ready to take your business to the next level online, let's talk - my DM's are open, or fire an email over to chris@lightbulbwebdesign.co.uk #WebDesign #DigitalMarketingAgency #TogetherWeCanDoMore

Welcome to Brain's Brain Let's talk about websites for a minute. I'm going to let you in on a dirty little secret.....most local businesses do not need complicated and expensive websites. They need a well designed, mobile optimized site that creates legitimacy for potential customers and 5 basic pages. Simple is better, faster is important, but complicated and expensive are definitely not necessary. What do you need? A home page, where you highlight the problems you solve for your customers, service pages where you detail the services or products you provide, an about page where you let people know a little bit more about you and your company and a contact page so they can get in touch with you. Sprinkle in a blog page or a photo gallery and you're all set. A quick note on service/product pages. Make each service you provide a separate page so that when you get around to doing some search engine optimization you can properly promote individual services and the search terms people use to find them. Stay tuned for another Brain's Brain where I'll go into more detail on why that's important. Finally, an important note about written content. People don't read much on websites, they want bullet points and some details but they don't want to read a short novel. Keep your written content to the most important parts, highlight with bullet points whenever possible and keep the writing jargon free so people understand what you're talking about. Keep it simple to digest and get in touch with you when they want more info. If you're getting quoted thousands of dollars for a simple 5 page website, get some competing quotes. We start our website building services off at $500 so make sure you do your due diligence and get multiple estimates. #BrainsBrain #Websites #LocalBusiness #MobileOptimized #SimpleIsBetter #WebsiteDesign #Legitimacy #SearchEngineOptimization #LightSwitchMedia #DigitalMarketing #GetFoundOnline
