The beauty of the Tuskegee University campus cannot be described in words. It really is something you have to experience for yourself. The National Park Service designates the campus as the Tuskegee Institute National Historic Site. It is the only college campus designated as such, and is considered one of America’s most picturesque.
That’s why each year, thousands of hopeful students, families, and history enthusiasts stop by “The Pride of the Swift Growing South” for prospective student tours, and for visits to the National Park Service’s George Washington Carver Museum and The Oaks, the home of Booker T. Washington. Visitors can also tour the Tuskegee University Archives and Legacy Museum, both with extensive collections focused on African and African American history and art.
Campus Tours are open for prospective Summer or Fall 2023 students. All tour bookings must be made at least 3 days in advance so the Office of Admissions and Recruitment can prepare for your tour adequately. Tour times are M-F at 10 am, 12 pm, and 2 pm. Tours are based on availability and the official University calendar. Masks are required for all campus guests for all campus tours. You may email us at [email protected] for any additional assistance.
