POLITICAL MEMES
What is
POLITICS?
The word politics is derived from Greek word

‘affairs of the cities’.

Politics is the process of

making decisions that applies
to all members of the group.
It is the ability to govern and
control over a group of people

nation
How can people be
influenced by others?
In 1955, Deutsch and Gerard studies and analyzed the motives of social
influence. They are able to determine two types of social influence:

1.Normative Influence. 2. Informational Influence.

Go to my Seminar: The Village Market
This activity measures how good your political self is.

1. You have been assigned to organize a seminar related to your

field/course.
2. Make the theme and title and write it on a manila paper.
3. Until our class next meeting, promote your seminar to other
students in school by approaching them and briefly explaining to
them the relevance of your proposed seminar. Convince them to
attend your seminar by asking them to affix their name and
signature to your manila paper.

GOAL: The more signatures you have, the better is your political
self.
THE FILIPINO IDENTITY
An interesting analogy…
The hot and loud stickers and flamboyant random
designs shows the Filipino’s love for artistry.
The jeepney is a representation of one's belief system. This
goes to show that Filipinos have faith, do believe in God and
are religious people too.
Aside from giving the jeepney a fun side, these small flags
represent Filipino's love of fiestas and celebrations. This also
denotes 'happiness'.
Aside from being more
affordable than commercial air
fresheners, the Sampaguita
symbolizes Filipino's value
for fidelity, purity, dedication
and strength. Whereas, Ilang-
ilang may symbolize harmony
and positivity.
Horses usually symbolize the Filipino hard-working spirit. It
also stands for our love for freedom, our passion, and strong
motivation.
The crowded seating arrangement displays equality.
Everyone is welcome for a ride, no matter how rich or poor a
person is.
No wonder why Filipinos were known to be one of the world's
most emotional people. We are expressive and always wanted to
be heard and to be listened to.
No matter what that thing is—important or not, we just want to
say or share it.
Not just 'sweet lovers‘, these drivers are all great multitaskers. They
could give directions, collect all the fares and give an accurate
change at the same time. They could even monitor who might have
not paid yet. They also do the job of waving passengers along the
streets while doing all the talkies: “Sakay na, maluwag pa!
