Hotel Management System is an ideal software solution for Hospitality Industry that can be used at hotels, motels, inns, resorts, lodges etc. Our Hotel Management System is a comprehensive software suite consisting of integrated modules for various aspects of hotel management. It includes all the features required in Hotel Management Software, Hotel Reception Software (Front Office), Hotel Point of Sales (Restaurant, Bar, Room Service, Housekeeping or any other outlet) and Hotel accounting software. In our software all modules are tightly integrated. Our Hotel management software is developed for Microsoft Windows operating system using latest software developing techniques.

Hotel Management System is hospitality software designed for full service luxury inns, bed, breakfasts, and resort. It emphasizes the highest level of individual guest services through our comprehensive features seamlessly integrating rooms, dining, and retail. Our software includes:Booking facility Checking room availability Maintaining customer information Maintaining employee records Automatic bill generation Generating graphs for the sales, profits, turnovers for different time periods. Competitive analysis Special Offers to the regular customers.

Initially the project has three different categories:

1) Operational Manager
This is divided into 3 Modules i.e. Sales & Marketing Under this section we can daily update records, items entry, booking and check out the customers. During the reservation time the operational manager is asked to do all the work. At the time of booking the Transaction id is selected by the operational manger and then the room id is selected according to the room allocated. The customer details are filled up after his customer id; arrival date and check out dates are being selected and is transferred to the booking table in the database. Finance & Accounting Here we are generating the billing details and inventory details of anything which is purchased. Also the day to-day financial reports are being generated. Human Resource It has employee record which has employee id and all the details of the particular employee, updating the employee record in which with the help of the employee id the particular record will be updated and there is a trainee record which has trainee id and a static page is generated which shows the performance of the trainee.

2) Middle Manager
Capital Cost budgeting

The middle manager operates the Capital Cost budgeting in which we have taken the sales of last 4 years thus predicting the Net Present Value and shows the idea of your costs and expected revenue for the project Sales Forecast It shows the sales forecast for the next year which comes out to be positive showing a profit for the forecasted year (i.e. 2011). Employee Salary Maintenance The salary for all the employees are maintained and updated from dayto-day.

3) Senior Manager
The Senior Manager will only view all the reports generated by the operational as well as the middle manager and on the basis of that analyze the report for better improvement.

NETBEANS

XAMPP is a free and open source cross-platform web server package, consisting mainly of the Apache HTTP Server, MySQL database, and interpreters for scripts written in the PHP and Perl programming languages. XAMPP's name is an acronym for: X (meaning cross-platform) Apache HTTP server MySQL PHP Perl XAMPP also provides support for creating and manipulating databases in MySQL and SQLite among others. It is mainly used for web development projects. This software is useful while you are creating dynamic web pages using jsp and servlet.

Scope of Future Application
This project can be used in the hotel after adding some more useful modules in the project for which hotel are providing services. Utmost care and back-up procedures must be established to ensure 100% successful implementation of the computerized hotel system. In case of system failure, the organization should be in a position to process the transaction with another organization or if the worst comes to the worst, it should be in a position to complete it manually.

Scope of Improvement
Now days hotels are providing many other facilities, this project can also be improved with the improvement in the Hotels. Utmost care and back-up procedures must be established to ensure 100% successful implementation of the computerized banking system. In case of system failure, the organization should be in a position to process the transaction with another organization or if the worst comes to the worst, it should be in a position to complete it manually.
