In our high cost energy world, governments should encourage the development of nuclear power. The cost of social programs is too burdensome for tax payers. Spending on these programs must be reduced. My country right or wrong is a good motto no matter what happens. Businessmen do more to help society than professors, artists, writers and other intellectuals. The size of government must be reduced. It is almost always best to choose political leaders who are older because they have experience and will not make rash judgements. The abolition of the death penalty was a mistake. Immigrants who complain about their adopted country should go back home. Families and governments should always try to balance their budgets and not use deficit financing. Labour unions have a role to play but now they are too big and powerful.
