Naan Mudhalvan : Key Focus Areas

1. Intensive Promotion of Apprenticeship & Internship among industries/MSME.


2. High speed intranet connectivity via fibernet of 1 Gbps in Arts & Science, Engineering,
Polytechnic, ITI should be enabled to disseminate the blended learning.
3. Management training be mandated to all principal and administrators for upskilling
4. Faculty Development Programme, every year along with the assessment should be mandated.
5. Creation of trained faculty registry for Naan Mudhalvan Skill Training implementation.
6. Engineering, Polytechnic & ITI facilities should be used during evening and weekend for
upskilling and reskilling value added courses.
7. Effective utilisation of existing CoE and New CoE to be established for specialised training and
preparation for world skills competition.
8. Employability skills / workplace training should be made compulsory for all students.
9. Foreign language like Japanese & German should be introduced as a value addition course.
10. Incubation & Innovation centres must be atleast in regional centres to allow the interested
students to access.
