Problems faced by farmers of India
● Farms are small in size
● Farmers are not able to afford costly machines.
● Subsistence farming is done, nothing is left for sale.
● Most of the farmers are illiterate.

Green Revolution
The Green Revolution helped us from food scarcity to food sufficiency by adopting
New Agricultural Strategies/methods.
Measures taken under Green Revolution
● Use of HYV (High Yielding Variety ) seeds.
● Use of Fertilizers, Insecticides and Pesticides.
● Irrigational facilities
