Day 1: Feel the chills in Tagatay
Title: Icy everyday
Today, my family and I are here at Tagatay. There’s no school these days so my
parents decided to have a trip. I was shocked when they told me that they’ve
been planning for months for this trip and successfully they got the right
budget for the trip. We checked in a condominium, SMDC Wind Residences. I
would rate this place a ten out of ten because it’s clean, neat and also it has a
great view of the Taal volcano. We took a lot of pictures of it. It was so amazing
seeing a volcano. What a view! We got our room; I started to jump around as soon
as I saw the balcony. I felt so alive when I smelled that cool breeze. I took of my
shoes and stepped on the balcony floor with bare feet. I scram because how
cold the floor was. It’s really cold here I had to wear a jacket even the sun is
shining so bright in the morning.

We ate bulalo in a restaurant called Leslie's restaurant. Bulalo is a dish made

out of bone marrow and shanks. It includes vegetables like corn on the cob,
scallion, onion, garlic, ginger and fish sauce and I immediately fell in love with
the dish as soon as I tasted it! We went back to the condo as soon as we
finished resting. I went to the balcony because the sun was setting. It was so
beautiful. I felt like it was my first time watching a sunset because of how
admiring it is. It’s already night time and it’s raining so hard that I can’t hear
my family talking. It’s so foggy especially at night. There was like fog and it was
raining at the same time. I’m going to sleep now; I’m wearing a jacket and
extra-large pajamas and I have two blankets with me. It so freezing that I feel
like I’m at Antarctica. Anyways, it’s a new day tomorrow and tomorrow is a new
adventure too! I’m so excited! I can’t wait any longer!!!

I can easily tell that this trip is going to be a blast.

Day 2: Feel the Chills in Tagatay
Beautiful Scenery

It’s a brand new day and we’re going for a picnic at Picnic Grove. There are picnic
areas in a scenic hilltop setting, plus zip lines & horseback riding there. We can enjoy
relaxing activities such as taking a stroll through the trail or simply hanging out by their
huts and taking pictures of Taal Lake and the majestic Taal Volcano. We rode a tricycle
or mostly called trike. We asked some people that how many minutes it’s going
to take to arrive there. They said it’ll take at least twenty minutes but it was
better than I expected. It only took 10 minutes or even lower than that. We
thanked kuya, who gave us a ride of his trike. To be honest, he drove so fast
that’s why we get here so fast. All thanks to him! Picnic grove has a 50 pesos
entrance; there was a Zip line near the picnic grove. It was exhilarating and the
wind was so cold it was so far down and it was my very first time experiencing
zip lining. The huts look like Bahay kubo. We bought a fresh and hot pandesal
and a hot chocolate drink for me while hot coffee for mom and dad. It was so
spacious that I ran around. I had so much fun running around, I was holding
my hot chocolate and i almost spilled my hot chocolate to my dad. I
immediately apologize and luckily he accepted it.

TAN:
After having a picnic at Picnic grove, we went to Puzzle Museum. You can really
tell that this is the Puzzle Museum because of its big sign near the entrance. As
soon as we entered the museum, it’s filled with puzzles inside of big and small
frames. I’m so amused with the puzzles that have a very detailed image. There
were a lot of puzzles stored on the shelves and also on the walls and even the
ceiling.

I’m very grateful that my parents brought me here. It’s probably because they
know my crazy obsession with puzzles.

Day 3: Feel the Chills in Tagatay
Feel the vibe
We also hiked to see the Taal Volcano crater. They said that the hike would
only take around 45 minutes to an hour. We can bring horses with us the hike
too! Well, technically we’re going to ride them. I really wanted to use a horse
but I think it’s better to use our feet for now. I wanted to be the first one to get
up there so I ran but I remembered that something terrible might happen so I
just walked and went with my mom and dad. We finally reached the top after
many water breaks. They say it’s easy to hike here because it’s just short but
for me, it’s hard probably because it’s my first time. The trail is a bit dusty
because of the volcanic ashes and that’s when I realized that’s why mom has
facemasks with her.

After all that hiking we went to eat at Leslie's restaurant again. We ordered a
nutty and sweet dish called Kare-kare. This is one of my favorite dishes. I love
it for its peanut butter taste! We also tried Crispy pata. It’s my first time eating
Crispy pata in a restaurant called Victorinos. Crispy pata consists of deep fried
pig trotters or knuckles served with a soy-vinegar dip. It can be served as party
fare or an everyday dish.

If you’re interested to come and visit Tagatay, don’t forget to bring lots and lots
of jackets, sweaters, or anything that keeps you warm. You don’t want to get a
cold in a trip, do you? Tagatay is really known for its climate. Imagine all the
outfits you can wear in Tagatay! Don’t forget to make a plan before going on a
trip; get to know the place you’re going. You’re things for the trip must be
complete because it would be horrible if you forgot your whole bag. You live at
Pasay and your destination is Mindanao. Imagine, you will just go all the way
back to Pasay just to get that bag.

Bringing your family and friends is so much better. Brand new memories will
rise. Tourists seeking Taal Volcano and Taal Lake’s charming views make the
city their favorite place, especially during summer, the holidays, and Holy
Week. There’s a possibility that our phones will have a full storage because of
the photos you’ll take. Trust me you can’t fight the urge of taking pictures
every time you see a beautiful scenery because it’s a must.

RIQUE:
That’s all for today. We hope that y’all enjoyed
our today’s presentation. Thank you! See you
all next time!
