UX Research Study — Plan

● Title: Creating an ordering app for ZRest (Z Restaurant App)

● Author: M.Helmi habibi

Email: [email protected]

● Stakeholders: ZRest customers, ZRest CEO and CFO

● Date: 27/06/2022

● Project background: We created the ZRest app to attract and retain

customers on our online and offline systems. We noticed that our
Introduction
competitors were offering custom mobile apps for their customers to
order, and they were very successful. We want to create products that
can compete in the market, increase sales, and increase customer
satisfaction.

● Research goals: We wanted to find out what specific difficulties users

face when they try to complete the core tasks of the ZRest app: item
selection, ordering, and in-app navigation.

● How long does it take the user to select and order food in the app?

● Did the user manage to order the food they wanted?

Primary ● What can we learn from the steps users take to order food?
research
questions ● Is there any part of the food ordering process that the user gets stuck
in?

● Is the payment process easy for the customer?

● Time on task: how much time users spend ordering a food

● Conversion rates: how many food customers are ordering
KPIs ● User error rates: how often users get stuck trying to order the food
they want
● System Usability Scale: a questionnaire to evaluate customer feedback
