Online Food Delivery
ABSTRACT
In this paper a survey is made to understand customers 'interests in mobile food apps that will help us
understand consumers' understanding of mobile food apps, consumer-facing factors when ordering from a new
app and various factors and ways on which food apps can be compared. The mobile app is a combination of
commercial and technical. Today, many people are connecting with the mobile app and are ready to trade it. The
research focuses on the study and analysis of data collected from all those users who are already using online
food delivery services. The aim is to know what factors, their perceptions, needs, position of the various online
destinations in their minds and their overall satisfaction in performing online meal delivery services.

I. INTRODUCTION
Online food ordering is the process of ordering food from a website or other packaging program. The product
can be food ready to eat (e.g. direct from a certified kitchen in a home, restaurant, or ghost kitchen) or food not
specifically prepared for the use of direct (e.g. farm / garden vegetables, frozen meat, etc.) Some people
consider it painful to go to a restaurant because of equal time to have a good time. It is also difficult to find
reservations and at the same time to browse through the menu and order the dishes. In some restaurants it is
provided that the customer will wait half an hour after ordering to get food. The popularity of online food
ordering and service delivery is growing steadily; user perception is also increasing. This research paper aims to
investigate consumers' views about the services they receive through different sites. This paper will help service
providers identify consumer needs” and ideas on the basis of the outcome of the survey.
II. METHODOLOGY
Methodology is the underlying principles and rules that govern a system method, on the other hand it is a
systematic procedure for a set of activities. Thus, from these definitions a methodology encompasses the
methods used within a study. A waterfall model under the software development life cycle (SDLC) is the
methodology used to produce the online food ordering system and the customer self-ordering system. It is used
by system developers to produce or alter information systems or software. It divides the development process
into several stages or processes. After the completion of one stage, it will logically move to another stage.
Sometimes moving back to the previous stage is necessary due to failure that occurs in current stage
DATA FLOW DIAGRAM
The DFD background diagram is a data flow diagram showing only a high-level, intelligent one called Level 0.
There is only one visible process at this level that represents the functions of the complete program depending
on how it works.
V. CONCLUSION
The development of online food ordering system involved many phases. The approach used is a top-down one
concentrating on what first, then how and moving to successive levels of details.
In the course of this study, many problems were discovered to have hindered the effectiveness of the existing
manual system. These problems, information needs and activities were documented and later used as the basis
for system design, which immediately followed the first phase. The design phase was concerned primarily with
the specification of the system elements in manner that best met the organization’s business needs.
