3. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION
Liquid.Amber.Emulsifiable with water.

Harmful by inhalation.
Ingestion may cause some of the product to enter the lungs and cause chemical pneumonitis. The risk increases
with vomiting, which may occur spontaneously due to irritation of the mucous membranes.
Repeated or prolonged exposure may cause skin irritation and dermatitis, due to the product's defatting
properties.
4. FIRST AID
GENERAL
Seek medical attention if any signs of unconsciousness or discomfort develop.Show this safety data sheet to the
physician present.
INHALATION
Immediately move the exposed person to fresh air. Keep warm and in a quiet place.Give artificial respiration if
breathing has stopped. If heart stops, provide cardiac massage.Get medical advice if discomfort develops.
SKIN CONTACT

TANKLEEN PLUS
Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water for several minutes.Get medical attention if irritation persists after
washing.Remove contaminated clothing immediately.Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
EYE CONTACT
Flush with large amounts of water (open eyelids) for at least 15 minutes.Get medical advice.
INGESTION
DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Get medical advice immediately.
If vomiting occurs, keep the head low to prevent obstruction of airways.
MEDICAL INFORMATION
High risk of chemical pneumonia (pneumonitis) if aspirated during and after ingestion.If necessary, perform gastric
lavage after intubation.The product has moderate acute toxicity.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

PROPER FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT
Water spray, fog or mist, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical, carbon dioxide (CO2).
IMPROPER FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT
Do not use strong water jet for extinguishing - may cause spattering of burning material.
FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS
Vapours are heavier than air and may travel along the ground for considerable distances to ignition sources.

Hydrocarbons may have an anesthetic effect, and may cause chemical pneumonitis upon inhalation of aerosol.
Chemical pneumonitis symptoms: Coughing and irritation of the respiratory system.
SKIN CONTACT
Irritates and defats the skin causing dryness, cracking and dermatitis.
EYE CONTACT
Vapour or splashes may cause temporary (reversible) eye damage.
INGESTION
Significant amounts may cause spontaneous vomiting. Risk of inhalation and chemical pneumonitis.

May cause sensitization.

product for use as tank cleaning agent by chemical tankers.
