Abbeville, City of $750,000 The City of Abbeville proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds to address
Housing substandard housing conditions throughout the city. The project will
consist of the rehabilitation of two deteriorated housing units and the
reconstruction of eight dilapidated housing units. This project will
benefit 48 persons, of whom 100% are LMI. The total project cost is
$768,400, with $18,400 in match and leverage.
Adel, City of $710,713 The City of Adel proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds to address
Housing substandard housing conditions throughout the city. The project will
consist of the rehabilitation of five deteriorated housing units and the
reconstruction of two dilapidated housing units. This project will benefit
9 persons, of whom 100% are LMI. The total project cost is $722,155,
with $11,442 in match and leverage.
Americus, City of $750,000 The City of Americus proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for street
Street and Drainage and drainage improvements on Sun Valley Drive. The project will benefit
169 persons, of whom 150 (88.7%) are LMI. The total project cost is
$1,584,626 with $834,626, in match and leverage.
Bacon County $737,315 Bacon County proposes to use $737,315 in CDBG funds for street and
Street and Drainage drainage improvements on Ohio River Road. This project will provide
drainage improvements and 1.7 miles of paving for residents of the
street. The project will benefit 99 persons, of whom 92 (93%) are LMI.
The total project cost is $926,615 with $189,300, in match and leverage.
Bainbridge, City of $750,000 The City of Bainbridge proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for
Street and Drainage street and drainage improvements. This is Phase III of previously funded
CDBG projects. This proposed project is for storm drainage
improvements that would relieve flooding conditions in the target area.
The project will benefit 119 LMI persons. The total project cost is
$1,149,258 with $399,258, in match and leverage.
Baker County $505,454 Baker County proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for street and
Street and Drainage drainage improvements for a .66 mile stretch of dirt road. The project
will benefit 26 persons, of whom 24 (92%) are LMI. The total project
cost is $525,454 with $20,000, in match and leverage.
Barnesville, City of $750,000 The City of Barnesville proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for
Sewer Improvements sewer improvements to the city. The proposed project includes the
replacement of aging and failing sewer lines within the Jackson Street
target area. The project will benefit 61 persons, of whom 48 (79%) are
LMI. The total project cost is $869,000, with $171,772 in match and
leverage.
Bronwood, City of $749,510 The City of Bronwood proposes to use $749,510 in CDBG funds for
Street and Drainage street and drainage improvements on North Johnson, North Geise
Improvements Street, Pecan Street, Mariellen Street, and Killong Street. The project
will benefit 75 persons, of whom 71 (95%) are LMI. The total project
cost is $872,510 with $123,000, in match and leverage.
Broxton, City of $592,227 The City of Broxton proposes to use $592,227 in CDBG funds for water
Water Improvements system improvements along Old Fitzgerald Road, Miller Avenue,
Railroad Street, Diamond Circle, Smith Street, Parallel Street, Leggett
Street, Lott Street, Ocmulgee Street, Watson Avenue, and Reynolds
Avenue. The improvements will provide safe drinking water, increased
water pressure, and adequate fire protection. The project will benefit
192 persons, of whom 142 (73%) are LMI. The total project cost is
$628,227, with $36,000 in match and leverage.
Burke County $750,000 Burke County proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for the public
Building - Recreation Center facility rehabilitation of the Burke County Recreation and Boxing Club.
The project will benefit 92 persons, of whom 71 (77%) are LMI. The
building is 4,650 square feet and in need of rehabilitation in order to
efficiently serve the current beneficiaries. The total project cost is
$814,491, with $64,491 in match and leverage.
Butler, City of $1,000,000 The City of Butler proposes to use $1,000,000 in CDBG funds for flood,
Multi-Activity drainage, and street improvements on E. Venus St, Caroline St, Gloria
St, Bell St and Bell Street, rehabilitation of 1 deteriorated stick-built
unit, reconstruction of 4 dilapidated Mobile Home units and
acquisition/clearance of 3 vacant dilapidated units. The project will
serve 185 people, of whom 175 (95%) are LMI. The total project cost is
$1,145,000 with $145,000 in match and leverage funds.
Cadwell, City of $422,417 The City of Cadwell proposes to use $422,417 in CDBG funds for sewer
Sewer Improvements improvements. The proposed project will provide new sewer lines,
manhole rehabilitation, and installation of new valves at the
wastewater treatment facility. The project will benefit 212 persons, of
whom 185 (87%) are LMI. The total project cost is $508,417, with
$86,000 in match and leverage.
Clayton, City of $750,000 The City of Clayton proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for water
Water Improvements system improvements. The proposed project consists of replacing
waterlines for the residential areas south of Downtown Clayton. The
project will benefit 444 persons, of whom 325 (73%) are LMI. The total
project cost is $864,000, with $114,000 in match and leverage.
Colquitt County $684,183 Colquitt County proposes to use $684,183 in CDBG funds for street and
Street and Drainage drainage improvements on Coy Cox Road. The project will consist of
base and paving improvements, sloped side ditches, driveway pipes,
and curb and gutter installation. The project will benefit 115 persons, of
whom 83 (72%) are LMI. The total project cost is $1,062,531 with
$378,348, in match and leverage.
Cook County $653,312 Cook County proposes to use $653,312 in CDBG funds for street and
Street and Drainage drainage improvements in the Siska Lane and Harrell Road target areas.
The project will consist of paving improvements that increases the
roadway width and the addition of storm drain system consisting of
inlets and pipes. The project will benefit 84 persons, of whom 73 (87%)
are LMI. The total project cost is $918,608 with $265,298, in match and
leverage.
Cornelia, City of $750,000 The City of Cornelia proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for street
Multi-Infrastructure improvements, drainage improvements, sewer system improvements,
and water system improvements in three target areas: Sunshine Circle,
Oak Grove Court, and Galloway Court. The project will serve 165 people,
of whom 146 (88%) are LMI. The total project cost is $1,292,000 with
$517,000 in match and leverage.
Danielsville, City of $750,000 The City of Danielsville proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for
Sewer Improvements sewer improvements. The proposed project will include construction of
approximately 16,000 linear feet of PVC sewers and force main, along
with the relocation of an existing pump station. Service lines to the
sewer mains from each home in the neighborhood will also be installed.
The project will benefit 187 persons, of whom 175 (94%) are LMI. The
total project cost is $1,494,646.

Dawson, City of $750,000 The City of Dawson proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for sewer
Sewer Improvements improvements. The proposed project will include the replacement of
cracked and decaying VCP sewer lines on Wheeler St SW, 3rd Ave SW,
Crisp St SW, Gordon St SW, Johnson St SW and Anderson St SW. The
project will benefit 189 persons, of whom 177 (94%) are LMI. The total
project cost is $788,500 with $38,500 in match and leverage.
Decatur County $626,421 Decatur County proposes to use $626,421 in CDBG funds for street and
Street and Drainage drainage improvements in the Philyaw subdivision. The project will
consist of improvements to .68 miles of road that includes drainage
piping with drop inlets being installed. The project will benefit 79
persons, of whom 79 (100%) are LMI. The total project cost is $831,421
with $205,000, in match and leverage.
Douglas County $750,000 Douglas County proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for the public
Building - Senior Center facility rehabilitation of the Douglas County Senior Services Center. The
proposed project consists of repairing the roof, ensuring ADA
accessibility, renovations to the dining hall, and renovations to the
existing layout of the building. The project will benefit 320 persons, of
whom 320 (100%) are LMI. The total project cost is $1,725,422, with
$975,422 in match and leverage.
Douglas, City of $636,875 The City of Douglas proposes to use $636,875 in CDBG funds to address
Housing substandard housing conditions throughout the city. The project will
rehabilitate 12 owner-occupied substandard housing units in the City’s
URP and new RAS areas. This project will benefit 18 persons, of whom
18 (100%) are LMI. The total project cost is $657,669, with $20,794 in
match and leverage.
Flovilla, City of $644,016 The City of Flovilla proposes to use $644,016 in CDBG funds for water
Water Improvements system improvements. The proposed project will be in the Heard Street
Neighborhood and includes the replacement of a water main, new fire
hydrants, and the installation of additional valves along the main line.
The project will benefit 104 persons, of whom 83 (80%) are LMI. The
total project cost is $704,016, with $60,000 in match and leverage.
Gordon, City of $750,000 The City of Gordon proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for water
Water Improvements system improvements. The proposed project will replace antiquated
water lines, fire hydrants, and service connections within the N. Main
Street Target Area. The project will benefit 156 persons, of whom 116
(74%) are LMI. The total project cost is $859,087 with $109,087 in match
and leverage.
Greenville, City of $750,000 The City of Greenville proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for water
Water Improvements system improvements. The proposed water improvements project
includes the installation of approximately 14,993 linear feet of 6-inch
water lines within the target area, the installation of 14 new fire
hydrants and 28 gate valves. The project will benefit 63 persons, of
whom 47 (76%) are LMI. The total project cost is $806,000 with $56,000
in match and leverage.
Griffin, City of $750,000 The City of Griffin proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for water
Water and Sewer Improvements and sewer improvements. The project will consist of the replacement of
aging and failing water and sewer infrastructure, including household
connections, in the DF Fuller Phase I Target Area. The project will benefit
195 persons, of whom 185 (95%) are LMI. The total project cost is
$1,213,138 with $463,138 in match and leverage.
Hall County $750,000 Hall County proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for a new
Building – Multipurpose multipurpose gymnasium. The proposed project consists of a new
Gymnasium building that will expand the Boys and Girls Club's facility space. The
project will benefit 170 persons, of whom 170 (100%) are LMI. The total
project cost is $1,409,375, with $659,375 in match and leverage.
Hancock County $750,000 Hancock County proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds to rehabilitate
Building – Recreation Center the Recreation Center. The proposed project includes construction to
make the facility handicap accessible, a new roof, security lighting, new
HVAC, and a fire alarm system among other things. The project will
benefit 125 persons, of whom 122 (98%) are LMI. The total project cost
is $993,751 with $243,751 in match and leverage.
Hawkinsville, City of $750,000 The City of Hawkinsville proposes to use $193,712 in CDBG funds for the
Multi-Infrastructure repair and replacement of sanitary sewer and stormwater drainage
infrastructure in the target area. The target area includes Gordon Street,
Jelks Street, North Wood Street, 2nd Street, Lovejoy Street, and Henry
Way Street. The project will serve 140 people, of whom 122 (88%) are
LMI. The total project cost is $796,540 with $46,540 in match and
leverage.
Hogansville, City of $750,000 The City of Hogansville proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for
Water Improvements water system improvements. The proposed water improvements
project includes the replacement of aging and failing water lines within
the target area. The project will benefit 201 persons, of whom 151 (75%)
are LMI. The total project cost is $1,138,200 with $388,200 in match and
leverage.
Jacksonville, City of $550,029 The City of Jacksonville proposes to use $550,029 in CDBG funds for
Water Improvements water system improvements. The proposed project will improve the
water quality in the City of Jacksonville and will consist of removing the
radium. The project will benefit 169 persons, of whom 164 (97%) are
LMI. The total project cost is $574,188 with $24,159 in match and
leverage.
Jasper County $750,000 Jasper County proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds to establish the
Building – Family and Nutrition Jasper County Family and Nutrition Resource Center. The proposed
Resource Center project includes a new building that will provide space for the food bank
and the ML&J fund to support residents. The project will benefit 2,631
persons, of whom 2,631 (100%) are LMI. The total project cost is
$913,456 with $163,456 in match and leverage.
Jefferson County $750,000 Jefferson County proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds to renovate
Building – Leisure Center and expand the Leisure Center. The proposed project includes the
renovation of the existing building to meet codes and to expand the
Center by 1,600 square feet on the east side, increasing the present
building size from 4,889 square feet to 6,489 square feet. The project
will benefit 135 persons, of whom 135 (100%) are LMI. The total project
cost is $960,122 with $210,122 in match and leverage.
Lee County $469,284 Lee County proposes to use $469,284 in CDBG funds for water system
Water Improvements improvements. The proposed project includes the extension of a main
line along Palmyra Road and the installation of new hydrants and valves.
The project will benefit 78 persons, of whom 71 (91%) are LMI. The total
project cost is $579,284 with $110,000 in match and leverage.
Madison County $529,676 Madison County proposes to use $469,284 in CDBG funds for water
Water Improvements system improvements. The proposed project includes the connection of
the Mize Road Water System to the rest of the Madison County Water
System. The project will benefit 230 persons, of whom 168 (73%) are
LMI. The total project cost is $541,241 with $11,565 in match and
leverage.
Madison, City of $750,000 The City of Madison proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds to
Building - Boys and Girls Club renovate and expand the current facility for the Boys and Girls Club. The
proposed project consists of renovating 2 of the buildings and building
a new addition that connects the buildings. The project will benefit 200
persons, of whom 177 (89%) are LMI. The total project cost is
$1,547,010 with $797,010 in match and leverage.
Marshallville, City of $750,000 The City of Marshallville proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for
Water Improvements water system improvements. The proposed project will replace the
entire water system in the target area with new 6- and 8-inch PVC along
with valves and new meters and services. The project will benefit 161
persons, of whom 138 (86%) are LMI. The total project cost is $899,461
with $149,461 in match and leverage.
Metter, City of $750,000 The City of Metter proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for sewer,
Multi-Infrastructure street, flood, and drainage improvements. The proposed project will
provide new sewer lines, new manhole installation/rehabilitation,
curbs, and gutters, and paving to the Trapnell Street area. The project
will serve 114 people, of whom 97 (85%) are LMI. The total project cost
is $928,532 with $178,532 in match and leverage.
Millen, City of $1,000,000 The City of Millen proposes to use $1,000,000 in CDBG funds for
Multi-Activity rehabilitating owner-occupied housing, along with streets, water, sewer
and flood and drainage infrastructures improvements. The project will
serve 33 people, of whom 31 (94%) are LMI. The total project cost is
$1,125,752 with $125,752 in match and leverage.
Moultrie, City of $712,746 The City of Moultrie proposes to use $712,746 in CDBG funds to acquire
Building – Mental Health Center and renovate a building for the new Colquitt County Mental Health
Center. The project will benefit 825 persons, of whom 791 (89%) are
LMI. The total project cost is $767,746 with $55,000 in match and
leverage.
Norwood, City of $750,000 The City of Norwood proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for sewer
Sewer Improvements system improvements. The proposed project will provide households
with failing septic systems with new sewer service connections and
fittings connecting to gravity fed sewer mains. The project will benefit
64 persons, of whom 52 (81%) are LMI. The total project cost is
$852,604 with $102,604 in match and leverage.
Ochlocknee, City of $750,000 The City of Ochlocknee proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for
Water Improvements water system improvements. The project proposes improvements in
the water distribution system to improve water quality, pressure, and
fire protection. The project will benefit 190 persons, of whom 165 (87%)
are LMI. The total project cost is $1,092,279 with $342,279 in match and
leverage.
Ocilla, City of $750,000 The City of Ocilla proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for sanitary
Multi-Infrastructure sewer, water, street, and flood & drainage improvements. The
proposed project will address the problems caused by aging, dilapidated
water pipes, sewer pipes, and streets and will be corrected in the Target
Area. The project will serve 104 people, of whom 95 (91%) are LMI. The
total project cost is $2,046,160 with $1,296,160 in match and leverage.
Odum, City of $571,495 The City of Odum proposes to use $571,495 in CDBG funds for sewer
Sewer Improvements system improvements. The proposed project will address the existing
outdated pump stations by upgrading and replacing them. The project
will benefit 132 persons, of whom 96 (73%) are LMI. The total project
cost is $596,995 with $25,500 in match and leverage.
Oxford, City of $750,000 The City of Oxford proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for water
Water Improvements system improvements. The project proposes improvements in the
water system along Oxford Road, Keel Street, West Keel Street,
Beakhead Court, Cat's Paw Court, and Perry Circle in west Oxford. The
project will benefit 149 persons, of whom 128 (86%) are LMI. The total
project cost is $1,334,800 with $584,800 in match and leverage.

Pelham, City of $750,000 The City of Pelham proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds to address
Housing substandard housing conditions. The project will acquire & clear 4
vacant and dilapidated housing units, rehabilitate 10 housing units, and
reconstruct 2 housing units. This project will benefit 59 persons, of
whom 54 (100%) are LMI. The total project cost is $770,200, with
$20,200 in match and leverage.
Register, City of $585,531 The City of Register proposes to use $585,531 in CDBG funds for water
Water Improvements system improvements. The project proposes improvements to the
water main, connections, valves, and new hydrants. The project will
benefit 180 persons, of whom 146 (81%) are LMI. The total project cost
is $671,531 with $86,000 in match and leverage.
Sandersville, City of $750,000 The City of Sandersville proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for
Street and Drainage street and drainage improvements. The project includes storm drain
piping, ditches, and innovative road cross drains. The project will benefit
104 persons, of whom 92 (88%) are LMI. The total project cost is
$821,562 with $71,562 in match and leverage.
Smithville, City of $630,457 The City of Smithville proposes to use $630,457 in CDBG funds for water
Water Improvements system improvements. The proposed project includes new fire
hydrants, replacement of existing water lines, and the installation of
new meters. The project will benefit 494 persons, of whom 425 (86%)
are LMI. The total project cost is $685,457 with $55,000 in match and
leverage.
Spalding County $750,000 Spalding County proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for sewer
Sewer Improvements improvements. The project will consist of the installation of a new
sanitary sewer collection system in the Dundee Mills Target Area. The
project will benefit 70 persons, of whom 64 (91%) are LMI. The total
project cost is $1,318,220 with $568,220 in match and leverage.
Swainsboro, City of $750,000 The City of Swainsboro proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for
Multi-Infrastructure water, sewer, street and drainage infrastructure. The proposed project
will address the of threat to health and safety related to water leaks,
low water pressure, sewage spills and overflows as well as poor street
and drainage infrastructure. The project will serve 155 people, of whom
111 (72%) are LMI. The total project cost is $1,204,000 with $454,000 in
match and leverage.
Sylvester, City of $683,055 The City of Sylvester proposes to use $683,055 in CDBG funds for sewer
Sewer Improvements improvements. The project will replace the existing clay pipe sewer
main with HDPR pipe by utilizing pipe-bursting, trenchless technology,
and open trench construction. The project will benefit 147 persons, of
whom 122 (83%) are LMI. The total project cost is $793,055 with
$110,000 in match and leverage.
Terrell County $750,000 Terrell County proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for street and
Street and Drainage drainage improvements. The project will consist of improvements to
Jones Drive, Brick Street, Northside Drive, and Bacon Street. The project
will benefit 124 persons, of whom 124 (100%) are LMI. The total project
cost is $888,000 with $138,000 in match and leverage.
Thomasville, City of $750,000 The City of Thomasville proposes to use $750,000 in CDBG funds for
Water and Sewer Improvements water and sewer improvements. The project address concerns in the
Dewey City neighborhood of the city. The project will benefit 179
persons, of whom 140 (78%) are LMI. The total project cost is
$1,862,742 with $1,112,742 in match and leverage.
Thomson, City of $1,000,000 The City of Thomson proposes to use $1,000,000 in CDBG funds for
Multi-Activity rehabilitating owner-occupied housing and improvements to sewer and
flood/drainage infrastructures. The project will serve 204 people, of
whom 204 (100%) are LMI. The total project cost is $1,168,000 with
$168,000 in match and leverage.
Twiggs County $750,000 Twiggs County proposes to use $750,000.00 in CDBG funds for water
Water Improvements improvements on Hill and Dale Road, Hill-Brown Road, Creekside Drive,
and within the Lucy Chapel Exchange Neighborhood area. The project
will benefit 98 persons, of whom 69 (70%) are LMI. The total project
cost is $1,042,060.00, with $292,060.00 in match and leverage.
Unadilla, City of $750,000 The City of Unadilla proposes to use $750,000.00 in CDBG funds for
Sewer Improvements sewer improvements by rehabilitating or replacing dilapidated sanitary
sewer infrastructure. The project will benefit 84 persons, of whom 61
(73%) are LMI. The total project cost is $814,697.00, with $64,697.00 in
match and leverage.
Ware County $750,000 Ware County proposes to use $750,000.00 in CDBG funds for street and
Street and Drainage drainage improvements on New York Avenue, New Jersey Avenue,
Pennsylvania Avenue, Virginia Avenue, California Avenue, and Oregon
Avenue located in the Emerson Park target area. The project will benefit
123 persons, of whom 104 (85%) are LMI. The total project cost is
$1,818,909.00, with $1,068,909.00 in match and leverage.
Warm Springs, City of $750,000 The City of Warm Springs proposes to use $750,000.00 in CDBG funds
Water Improvements for water improvements to install new PVC water mains, hydrants, and
other related appurtenances within the Pharham Road target area. The
project will benefit 197 persons, of whom 171 (87%) are LMI. The total
project cost is $782,862.00, with $32,862.00 in match and leverage.
Washington County $750,000 Washington County proposes to use $750,000.00 in CDBG funds for
Service Center building improvements to renovate the existing 17,568 square foot
recreation center and build a new 7,500 square foot facility at 824
Golden Hawk Drive for the Washington County Service Center. The
project will benefit 130 persons, of whom 95 (73%) are LMI. The total
project cost is $1,477,856.00, with $727,856.50 in match and leverage.
Wayne County $750,000 Wayne County proposes to use $750,000.00 in CDBG funds for building
Senior Center improvements to construct a senior center at Hal Richardson Park
recreational area. The project will benefit 56 persons, of whom 56
(100%) are LMI. The total project cost is $787,018.00, with $37,018.00
in match and leverage.
