I feel that it is important for a teacher to understand all of their equipment that is in their

classroom in order to be able to use it properly within the classroom and for the students to be

able to know how it works as well. Also there is no point in having a piece of equipment within

a classroom for only one thing to be used on it. The teacher should be able to understand all of

its functions and how they can be applied in multiple ways. For example a smart board can be

used to tell stories, give texts or exams, play games and so much more. Yet if the teacher does

not know how to utilize all of these features then both the teacher and students are losing out. If

the teacher can use the different tools then the teacher may find a way to teacher a certain subject

that works either for a specific student or even the whole classroom.

I think that teachers should be included on what equipment needs to be bought for their

classroom. This way the teachers can tell who ever is buying what works for a classroom and

what does not. If people are continuing to buy the wrong things then the kids are the ones that

are losing in the situation. Without a teachers input the students will not get the best education

possible because the better or more suitable the equipment the better the students will do.
