SECOND PHASE OF CENTRALISED ALLOTMENT TO
MBBS/BDS COURSES PUBLISHED
The second phase of allotment to MBBS, BDS Courses 2017 is published herewith
on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. In this phase allotment is done only to
Government Medical Colleges, Self Financing Medical/Dental Colleges and Private Self
Financing Ayurveda Colleges. Those students who had confirmed their options online
within the stipulated time alone have been considered for this phase of allotment.
The allotment to the Self Financing Medical/Dental colleges have been done on
the basis of the relevant Government Orders.
The details of allotment of a candidate such as Name, Roll Number, Allotted
Course, Allotted College, Category of Allotment, Fee details etc. will be available on
the home page of the candidate. The candidates should invariably take a printout of
the allotment memo.
Those candidates who receive an allotment afresh or a change in allotment to
Government Medical Colleges should remit the fee/balance fee, if any, to be paid to
the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations as specified in the allotment memo at any
of the designated branches of State Bank of India or by way of Online Payment from
21.08.2017 to 24.08.2017 and should join the course/college allotted before 5 pm on
24.08.2017. Those candidates who do not remit the fee/balance fee and who do not
join the college allotted within the stipulated time will lose their allotment as well as
all the existing higher options in the stream to which the allotment belongs.
Candidates getting allotment afresh or a change in allotment to Government
Controlled Self Financing Medical/Dental Colleges or Private Self Financing
Medical/Dental Colleges should remit the fee as below.

Financing Dental Commissioner for Entrance Examinations,
Colleges 15% NRI Seats Rs.6 lakhs payable at Thiruvananthapuram
* As per the orders of the Honble Supreme court dated 14.08.2017 on SLP(C)No.
20420/2017, these colleges shall receive fees up to Rs. 11 lakhs subject to the final
orders of the Honble High Court.
The Fee structure in Self Financing Medical Colleges shall be subject to the final
decision of the Honble High Court/Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC)
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will transfer the amounts due to
the colleges concerned after the completion of the admission process in Medical/Dental
courses.
Candidates getting allotment to the Self Financing Medical/Dental Colleges shall
have to submit the Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance
Examinations and the Bank Guarantee drawn in favour of the Principal of the college
concerned directly to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations,
Thiruvananthapuram on any date from 21.08.2017 to 24.08.2017.
Candidates getting allotment to the Self Financing Medical/Dental Colleges in
this phase need only confirm the allotment by submitting the Demand Draft/Bank
Guarantee directly to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations,
Thiruvananthapuram before 5 pm on 24.08.2017. Such candidates need not join the
colleges allotted in this phase. They have to complete the admission procedure by
presenting themselves at the venue of the spot admission to be conducted by the
Commissioner for Entrance Examinations from 26.08.2017 to 28.08.2017 at
Thiruvananthapuram.
Those candidates who do not submit the Demand Draft/Bank Guarantee within the
stipulated time will lose their allotment in this phase. But their previous allotments, if any,
shall be retained.
Candidates who receive an allotment afresh or a change in allotment to the Private Self
Financing Ayurveda Colleges in this phase should remit the fee/balance fee, if any, to be paid
to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations as specified in the allotment memo at any of
the designated branches of State Bank of India or by way of Online Payment from 21.08.2017
to 24.08.2017. They need not join the allotted college in this phase. Joining the college
shall be done from the next phase of allotment to Private Self Financing Ayurveda colleges.
Those candidates who do not remit the fee/balance fee within the stipulated time will lose
their allotment as well as all the existing higher options in the stream to which the allotment
belongs.
Conditions of Liquidated Damages for leaving the Engineering/Architecture/ Pharmacy
courses:
1. Candidates admitted in Govt./Aided/Govt. Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges
and leaving the course after the closing date of admission for Engineering courses shall
be liable to pay Liquidated Damages as per Clause 12.2.4(a) of the Prospectus for KEAM
2017.
2. Candidates admitted in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges under Kerala
Catholic Engineering College Managements Association can accept the new allotment to
Medical & Allied Courses subject to the conditions in GO(Ms) No.166/2017/H.Edn. Dated:
22.06.2017.
3. While issuing Transfer Certificate and other documents to the candidates admitted in
other Private Self Financing Engineering/Architecture colleges consequent to the
allotment to Medical & Allied courses through KEAM 2017, liquidated damages shall not
be collected as per GO(Ms) No.170/2017/H.Edn. Dated: 23.06.2017 and GO(Ms)
No.169/2017/H.Edn. Dated: 23.06.2017. But the fee remitted for the year need not be
refunded.
4. Candidates admitted in Govt./Self Financing Pharmacy Colleges and leaving the course
after the closing date of admission for Pharmacy course shall be liable to pay Liquidated
Damages as per Clause 12.2.4(a) of the Prospectus for Pharmacy courses 2017 and
related Government Orders.
No allotment has been done to Karuna Medical College, Palakkad, Kannur Medical College,
Anjarakkandi, Malabar Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Kozhikode, SUT Academy of
Medical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram, Ashtamgam Ayurveda Chikilsalayam and
Vidhyapeedham, Palakkad, Santhigiri Siddha Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram and Markaz
Unani Medical College, Kozhikode for want of Affiliation orders from the KUHS. Allotment has
not been done in this phase to MES Medical College, Perinthalmanna, Malappuram and Dr.
Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College, Karakonam, Thiruvananthapuram as per the directions
from the Government. Allotment to the above colleges shall be done after getting the
Affiliation order from the University/Government Order.
Also allotment has not been done to the Minority Quota seats (including the minority
seats under NRI quota) in Private Self Financing Medical/Dental Colleges having minority status
in this phase. The Honble High Court had extended the last date for submission of documents
for claiming Minority Community up to 16.08.2017. After verification of the documents received
in respect of Minority claims, the minority category lists will be published and the allotment to
minority quota seats shall be done in the Spot Admission to be conducted by the Commissioner
for Entrance Examinations.
Candidates are requested to watch for notifications that will be issued after in pursuant to
Court Orders and Government Orders to get updated in the process of allotment.
