Maureen McFadden guest speaker during Business Seminar Series at Holy Cross College
NOTRE DAME, IN (September 11, 2013) Experience counts! One Michiana broadcast journalist has that and much, much more. Maureen McFadden, WNDU-TV news anchor, has been a leading member of the news community for years. But beyond that she has been a strong supporter of community programs and a remarkable role model for career minded young men and women.

McFadden shares her success story as the next speaker in the Holy Cross College series Practical Lessons in $uccess. The event takes place Wednesday evening September 18th at 7:00 p.m., in Driscoll Auditorium on the campus of Holy Cross College. When Maureen McFadden speaks, people listen! She is a true home-grown success story. A two-time Emmy Award winning journalist who has seen and interviewed thousands of local, regional, and national newsmakers, McFadden counts among many highlights, interviews with

civil rights activist Rosa Parks, NBS news anchor Brian Williams, Tonight Show host Jay Leno, and Supreme Court Justice Warren Burger. As a life-long Michiana resident, Maureen McFadden has been an active participant in many valuable community organizations such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Logan Center, and The Junior League. She is a graduate of St. Josephs High School in South Bend, and went on to earn an associates degree from Holy Cross College and a bachelors degree from Saint Marys College.

Holy Cross College business seminars present real world success stories and business perspectives in an warm, friendly, academic environment. Practical Lessons in $uccess augments the academic experience with a strong message for the Michiana community at large. Members of the Michiana community are welcome to attend the presentations and share the experience.

November 13: Tracy Graham, Co-Founder/ President, GramTel. Managing Principal of


Graham Allen Partners. Tracy has 14 years of executive-level experience in the technology industry as both an entrepreneur and executive.

The Practical Lessons in $uccess series has the kind support of the St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce. All seminars are free, open to the public, and will be followed by a reception on campus.
