In this time of great unease and upheaval, we're looking at each other more than ever. Storytelling is a powerful tool for connection, and as we work to achieve more peace through our external work, we want to invite you to look inward to our generational inheritances to see what can be learned and gifted from that place. Want to know the quickest way to lose a big audience? Start with "GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! Let's try that again (with the hopes of getting a bigger reaction) GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!" It's so cringe. When you ask people to reciprocate words or energy without giving them anything first, it becomes about validating you and not them. A better alternative is to start with a personal story that has led you to talk about the topic. It's a surefire way to grab attention, build connection and make a positive impression.
