💡 Useful info for companies looking at complying with both the ESRS and ISSB sustainability reporting standards. The IFRS Foundation and the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) announced today the publication of the ESRS-ISSB standards interoperability guidance, a new document aimed at illustrating the high level of alignment between the respective sustainability reporting standards. The guidance also includes support for companies looking to comply with both sets of sustainability reporting standards. In November 2023, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) announced the launch of the Sustainability Innovation Lab (SIL) based in Singapore, in coordination with the IFRS Foundation. The SIL is bringing together global and local partners to advance capabilities for reporting using the GRI Standards and the ISSB Standards. The GRI and the IFRS Foundation have recently jointly published a new analysis and mapping resource: Interoperability considerations for GHG emissions when applying GRI Standards and ISSB Standards.
