This is one of the best resumes I’ve come across. I got permission to share this from one of my coaching clients. (personal details altered to protect their privacy/identity) They’ve landed 2-3 interviews each week for the last month. Good, high-paying companies on their target list. My client built this resume with Teal and here’s why it stands out: 1. Simple Format: Clean, easy-to-read layout. Recruiters and hiring managers appreciate resumes that get straight to the point. 2. No Fluff Summary: High-level overview of their background and major accomplishments, including a significant project they led and results that came from it. No jargon or fluff which is a big plus. 3. Company Descriptions Includes a one-line description for each employer. Especially helpful for lesser-known companies - instantly shows the scale and scope of their experience without making recruiters guess. 4. Measurable Impact: Results and numbers are included for each job. People can easily understand what kind of impact they've had on the business which is a must-have for a strong resume. 5. Strategic Keywords: You can’t see it, but they ensured their resume was optimized for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) using specific terms in the job description. 6. Balanced Skillset: Lists both technical and soft skills (leaning more on technical skills), ensuring a well-rounded profile that appeals to a variety of employers. They also used job descriptions to optimize this section. Love to see the use of metrics and numbers across the different experiences. This is key when drafting a resume. Focus on the story you want to tell, the accomplishments you’ve had, and the value you want to showcase.
Clean and concise wins every time. Reno Perry
This is such a great example of how a well-crafted resume can highlight impact over responsibilities. Focusing on measurable results instantly makes candidates stand out.
Love this - and It’s funny, because this resume format looks closer to old school ones, which I’ve always thought were the clearest. I’d also include any published work or speaking engagements to highlight those skills.
Each point you’ve highlighted here reflects the importance of clarity, strategy, and personalization—key factors that often set standout resumes apart from the rest. I’d also add that testing and iterating can be a valuable strategy. Even great resumes benefit from regular updates to match evolving career goals or trends in the job market.
Great job sharing this, it’s a valuable resource for anyone looking to step up their job search game!
The emphasis on measurable impact and strategic keywords is spot on. It’s not just about what you’ve done, but how you’ve made a difference.
This resume is high-impact. With a no-fluff summary.

1wIt's a resume to learn from. 1. Notice the verbs throughout the roles. Spearheading, Managed, Established, Developed. 2. Most of the bullet points have numbers to show the result of the work. The Senior Project Manager role of achieving 40% processing times and 98% accuracy rate makes the reader want to read more. 3. Michael made every word count and earned its value on the resume. Make sure every bullet point shows what you did and tells a story. P.S. Thank you for sharing the resume, Reno.
