Positioning on LinkedIn can be overwhelming sometimes, especially if you don't know where to start from. Yesterday I gave tips on getting your ICP  through networking and as promised, I'm giving how to sequence engagement to avoid burn out and also to maximise result. Here's what do 》Make a list of creators you should engage on a daily and allocate a time frame. (You can break the time into two as some creators post at different time zones) 》20% should be top creators....the traction from their post would rub off on your comment if well done. 》40% should be middle sized and small accounts in your niche.....they would easily want to return the favor as your content would easily resonate with them too. 》Lastly 40% goes to your targeted clients build relationships with them from their posts comments. If you are new entrepreneur then this story might save you a painful amount of money! CONTEXT: I was lucky enough to have worked together with some prolific clients in the first month of my business which had led to more leads. I would go on to have calls with about 4 different leads, and they all seemed REALLY interested in working with me. The mistake I made was that thinking those leads were already closed, even if they had said "how excited they were to work together". Having had -what I thought was- a commitment from these clients I set out to scale my team because I would not be able to manage all that work myself. I had found some fantastic people and had told them they could come on board, and I would sign them, pay them X amount, only to have three of the four leads pull out last minute. Putting me in a very painful position that I had to cancel my contract with these freelancers where I could. This wasn't the case for all. This mistake nearly resulted in my agency shutting down just 3 months after it started! Luckily Oyinkro K 🎥 handed me a lifeline and saved my ass with a small project he needed help on. So don't be gullable like I was and realize that a DEAL is only a DEAL once the money is on your bank account.

After that, Back to your business and daily activities. So, Just 10 minutes learning and reciting Qur'an in a day; → You can IMPROVE Qur'an recitation and tajweed. → You're a BETTER person on that day. → You gain "BARAKAH" in your time. Keep repeating. How strong would you like it to be? The reaction I get the most when broaching the subject of creating a company page from people is panic. Panic and overwhelm at the thought of taking on even more commitment, even more social media strategy - messaging and commenting expectation, analytics and trends etc. But, let me tell you. You do not need all of that to have a great brand presence on LinkedIn. You just need one thing... the actual page to exist! 😆 Having a LinkedIn Company Page for your business creates a dedicated space for your business, it creates an offshoot from you in case you want to talk about something less business related without losing business consistency. Being a Founder is fucking hard… Earning between £3K-£10K/ month you have to: - Generate the leads - Close the leads - Deliver work to the clients - Communicate with your clients - Manage your diary - Re-arrange meetings to suit you and everyone else - Improve your service - Manage your finances And everything else… Not complaining, it’s part of the fun. But as a 1 man team, It makes things 10x easier if you have 1 of everything else: - 1 target audience - 1 lead-gen system - 1 service to sell them 7 months ago, I went all in on that idea. I chose Founders as my ICP, LinkedIn as my lead-gen source, LinkedIn as my service to sell to them… And it DID make things 10x easier: ✅ I got really good at LinkedIn FAST ✅ Generating leads didn't become a huge task And as a result, I’ve worked with 40+ clients in the last 7 months. Founders, if you’re juggling tonnes of tasks, My advice is to just serve 1 of everything. Your diary will thank you…

One big lesson I wish I’d learnt earlier in #business: >>> Qualify hard and early <<< Here’s why… You need to qualify prospects, before you give someone the opportunity to work with you. If you don't... ...you're at risk of working with clients who don't have what you need, to deliver the outcome you're offering. ^^^ read that again. A side (but equal) benefit... There's two paths that people take to make a purchase: 🔴 1. You're either in *their* buying process, or 🟢 2. They're in *your* sales process. One you can control. And one you can't. So… If you're in their buying process, you could be dragged all around the place: > Phone calls > Meetings > Proposals > "We'll think about it in 6 months time…” etc. But if they're in *your* sales process? You get to set the steps of what they need to do, and boxes they need to tick, if they want to become your client. You lead, they follow. So you can filter out anyone who you can’t help… Or anyone who has a red flag dangling around their neck 🚩… …because they will be a pain-in-the-backside to work with (of which there are many!) Not to mention… Because you're starting to lead - the more you lead, the more people follow. So if you set up a process and stick with it… Then you're going to be working with the clients that YOU want to work with. Which is kinda important if you want to build a business you don’t hate... 😄 #marketing #sales #growth

𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲. 💪 You have been working round the clock, 12 days a week and 48-hours a day, trying to grow your business. You are attending every industry conference, posting constantly on social media, networking with anyone you think can benefit your business and working on new marketing strategies. You have done literally everything that has trended on social media on successful ways to build a business. You can even quote Simon Sinek, Gary Vaynerchuk and Seth Godin verbatim. But despite your non-stop hustle and theoretical knwoledge on how to build a business, your growth seems to have stalled. You are feeling stuck, frustrated, and wondering why your hard work and passion for what you do isn't paying off yet. Eventually, you realize you've been focusing on the wrong things. You've been chasing every potential client and customer, regardless of if they fit your brand or not (Imagine reaching out to a detergent brand to promote your perfume business!) You’ve also been spending hours on social media without a clear strategy and attending conferences, but not networking effectively. Don't get it wrong, hard work matters. But working hard on the wrong things? That's called being busy, not productive. Anyone can put in time, but only those who focus on the right tasks make real progress. Sometimes, what we do is just noise, distractions in productivity clothing. I'm sure it comes to mind many tasks that you engage in that make you feel busy but don't move you an inch closer to your goals. But once you take a step back and see that you've been running in circles, that’s where everything changes. We have to be ruthless about our focus. Ask yourself: "Does this get me closer to my goal?" If no, then maybe it needs not be prioritized. Busy work will give us temporary feeling of accomplishment but it won't move the needle or get you to your dreams. With renewed focus, you will start seeing progress. Without a doubt, focusing on one goal can be hard, really really hard. However, with focus, it is almost a guarantee that you will achieve the goals you have set. Just start with a clear direction and while pushing to work hard, also work smart. That way, you don't get stuck wondering why your hard work isn't paying off.
