How often have you found yourself reviewing new promotional content, only to find yourself sifting through redundant comments or making repeated changes? In part, this is a content quality issue–a challenge we hear from our customers and the industry as one barrier to a fast, efficient content review process. Sometime, organizations overlook a fundamental element that can significantly streamline this process: seeking collaborative input from key parties early in the content development process. Not only can this expedite approvals, but it also simultaneously improves the quality of the content. A proactive approach in involving all relevant stakeholders throughout the content creation journey helps mitigate potential hiccups. This reduces the margin for errors or misjudgments and paves the way for a smoother content review process. It's simple: the earlier you rope in your team, the less feedback you'll have to deal with in the final stages. But here's an interesting observation: Have you noticed a thematic consistency in the feedback from your reviewers? More often than not, the comments left behind tend to echo similar sentiments. By identifying these themes early on, we can adapt our content strategy accordingly to reduce redundancy and optimize efficiency. Check out a recent episode of Vodori's Amend & Progress podcast, where we cover process best practices like this and so much more. There is great fodder in here as you start to think about setting goals for your 2025 process. What I Learned from Brady Winder Author: Brady Winder Carrot's Content Strategist & Host of Carrot's Podcast. Loves family, music, and good conversation.* 1. Connecting with Clients:** Brady taught me that showcasing how you connect with clients on your website significantly boosts conversion rates. It's essential to highlight "what's in it for them." 2. Authentic Reviews:** He emphasized the power of raw, authentic reviews. Text messages and screenshots shared on pages have shown higher conversion rates compared to standard testimonials. 3. Google Business Page:** Setting up a Google Business Page is crucial. It helps improve the ranking of your Carrot website or any website, making it more visible to potential clients. 4. Speed to Lead:** Engaging with incoming clients quickly is vital. Speed to lead can make a significant difference in outreach success. While automation can assist, personal follow-up to connect is key. 5. Video Testimonials:** Brady highlighted the importance of video content. Client testimonials in video format carry substantial weight, enhance your site's ranking, and are highly favored by visitors.

You’re missing out on a content goldmine. Your podcast can serve as the foundation, the "pillar content," for your entire content strategy. Think about it - with each episode you record, you're capturing insights, ideas, and conversations. Why not use that amazing content and repurpose it into so much more? Just imagine turning those podcast episodes into: • In-depth blog posts that dive deeper into key topics (start with the transcript) • Engaging social media clips and audiograms • Can't-miss newsletter content that keeps your audience informed • Authoritative industry reports and white papers to position your brand as a thought leader It's a content multiplier, and increases the ROI of your brand’s production. Starting with a podcast gives you loads of high-quality material that you can then distribute across multiple channels.

Creating content is an essential part of any business or personal brand. But here's the thing: It's hard to create if you don't consume. Why? → Consuming different content expands your knowledge and perspective. → It keeps you updated with the latest trends and discussions. → It fuels your creativity and sparks new ideas. So, if you're struggling with content creation, maybe it's time to take a step back and consume. Read a book, listen to a podcast, watch a webinar, engage in a discussion. Remember, every great creator is first a consumer.

How to create content without extra effort. Spoiler: It’s all about leverage... Here’s what I’m doing in this video: → Running a webinar and simultaneously filming it for other platforms. One piece of content, multiple uses. With leveraged podcasting, you start with one core piece of content (your “hub”) and repurpose it across different channels (your spokes). It’s not about setting up the tripod 10 times; it’s about intentionality and planning. So next time you hit record, whether it's for a podcast, webinar or interview, ask yourself: 1. What else can I do with this? 2. How many places can it go? This is how you maximise reach without extra effort - just apply leverage. While podcasting, you might want to go live on your social platforms, or you might want to get some BTS footage recorded too. There's ALWAYS opportunity, you just have to see it...
