🚗 Have you bought a brand-new vehicle recently, and are experiencing mechanical problems? Talk to your dealer first. The dealer you purchased from may be able to help with some issues. If talking to the dealer does not work, contact the manufacturer. Manufacturer means the company that made your vehicle. They can help with assembly or material defects. They can also help with warranties, safety-related defects, or recalls. The VSA helps with problems with licensed dealers and manufacturers. After all these years of mandatory #CEMarking, we are often surprised at the number of manufacturers who still believe it unnecessary or too arduous. In many cases this may be due to the fact that a Technical File is often an after-thought. We believe that understanding what the principles are behind the process of CE marking in the product inception stages, should help manufacturers benefit in producing a good safe product. Where the #TechnicalFile is proactively compiled and therefore comprehensive at evidencing the ‘what/where/how’ of the product it covers, ensuring risks and time spent on this task stay minimal. #compliance #ce #technicaldocumentation

One of the top questions I get about eRegs: Is it a compliant alternative to physical books? Yes! The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations do not mandate motor carriers provide their drivers physical copies of the regulations, despite what you may have been told. They simply require carriers to "instruct" their drivers on the regulations so that they can comply with them (see 49 CFR 390.3(e)). The regulations explicitly allow carriers to meet these types of obligations via electronic means like eRegs (see 49 CFR 390.32). eRegs can save you anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars each year depending on your fleet size in comparison to paper regulation books.
