Wine is an alcoholic drink made from fermented grapes or other fruits. The fermentation process converts the sugars in the fruit to alcohol. It's often aged in barrels and can range from light and fruity to rich and robust. On the other hand, spirits, also known as hard liquor, are distilled alcoholic beverages. This process increases the alcohol content significantly compared to wine. Spirits include whiskey, vodka, rum, gin, and tequila, and they can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails. CYPHER - Named Best 0% alc. Sparkling Wine in the World ! 🥂💥⬇ We are proud to announce that the prestigious World Alcohol Free Awards has named Cypher the best non-alcoholic sparkling wine in the world in the white sparkling category made by a French independant wine maker. 🍐"White fruit and flowers with silver needle tea notes. Firm backbone of acidity adds an almost saline minerality. Good for fans of Chablis/Sancerre. " The The World Alcohol-Free Awards focuses on products with alcohol levels of 0.5% ABV or below. This year 450 entries were received from 21 countries and judged by eminent non-alcoholic specialist tasters, with a strong retail focus, from seven different countries across Europe, North America and the UK. After the recent awards from The Drinks Business, that is another milestone for Cypher and Brau Wine's team. Established by former Michelin-starred drinks buyer and non-alcoholic specialist, Chrissie Parkinson and respected drinks writer and editor Chris Losh in 2022, The World Alcohol-Free Awards is in its second year and has quickly grown to become the largest alcohol-free drinks competition in the world. Competition Co-Founder & Director Chris Losh said, 'It’s been really heartening to see the support for this competition from producers all round the world. Alcohol-free is a huge global trend and we’re excited to be able to reflect that. As recently quoted in Decanter , "The universe of low- and no-alcohol beverages is rapidly expanding and improving". Last winter, Magazine Forbes also was raising the question: "Why Retail And Hospitality Players Must Catch Up To The Sober Curious Movement ?". We're thrilled to be luck enough to experiment from the inside the development of that category and contribute to its improvement. Big up to our clients and partners who are continuously supporting us into our innovation and journey towards lifestyle conviviality and siles ! #WAFA #alcoholfree #nolow #cypher

Today, drinkers can meet any mood with nearly any type of beverage. When it comes to relaxing after work, a beer brand isn't only competing with other beer brands. Consumers are also considering CBD drinks, wine-based cocktails, and even sleep-aiding melatonin beverages to achieve the same feeling. Today, almost 40% of Americans who consume alcohol drink across all major categories of beer, wine, and spirits. And their decision making is increasingly influenced by what they drink outside of alcohol, too. Brands must communicate differently in the era of vibes-based total beverages, and at Sightlines, we're keeping subscribers ahead of that curve: https://lnkd.in/gAqXmNQF
