Closing a chapter on a leadership journey is never easy. It’s tough to step back after pouring so much passion, energy, and heart into something and to let others take the baton. Leadership isn’t just about the time spent or the goals achieved; it’s about the relationships built, the challenges faced, and the growth experienced along the way. While it’s hard to say goodbye to Engage Dallas, I’m grateful for every lesson learned and every person who has been part of this journey. Though this chapter is ending, the impact will continue to shape my path forward. Remember these two words: Selective and Recognizable.  When it comes to leadership positions, strive to obtain leadership roles in recognizable organizations such as NHS, STUCO, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts.  Leadership roles in well-known organizations that are selective of their members and where you are elected for your position will earn you more points with the Academies. 

Excited to lend my experience to the National Small Business Association and advocate for small businesses to our federal delegation, particularly around the rising cost of healthcare 🏥 Stomping Ground Strategies is proud to fully cover the cost of healthcare for our employees, but most small (and large) businesses don't. We spend roughly one-third of our lives at work (and another third thinking about work 🙃 ), and that takes a toll on everyone's mental and physical wellbeing. The LEAST employers can do is pay for healthcare. But make no mistake, it's expensive and most small businesses can't afford it. Small businesses make up 43.5% of the U.S.'s GDP. We're economic drivers, and as such, we should be able to support our workforce and their health, so they in turn can keep our economy healthy & strong.

Thank you to the firm leadership and employees. I cherish daily the opportunity to work with such great professionals and stewards of the Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services brand. We are in a “what have you done for me lately” business. Our successes are many, may I share a Bradford success-story “top ten” list? Along with a few of my many soundbites….   1) Extensive Market Reach: Bradford has leased and sold over 150MMsf of CRE assets since inception. 2) Strategic Local Presence: Solely operating in DFW, Bradford is approaching 20.0MMsf of asset assignments; leasing, brokerage, and/or Property Management relationships. 3) Investment Velocity: Our HNW Investment Management Program is in full bloom. Fund IV is in an active capital raise. https://bit.ly/3YRwaT1 4) We check the boxes: The Firm averages over 600 CRE transactions annually. Bradford is a “groundswell” of market reconnaissance.  5) Private, Connected in DFW: We are a DFW “boutique” among giants, CBRE, Newmark, CushWake, and JLL. Similar DFW legacy firms, private, local leadership, is our domain. 6) Need Deal Flow?: We have a “crop-duster” mentality. Low to the ground, visible.
