It's been described as 'the sneaky importance of job levelling' and 'the secret sauce' but whatever it is, it is making a difference within organisations and allowing them to build career frameworks which ultimately means their people stay longer. One of the things that has the biggest impact for our clients, and where we get the best feedback post implementation, is in the deployment of a job levelling framework. Call it what you want, job evaluation, job levelling, job architecture, I don't mind. As long as what we mean is the underlying framework which drives all things HR and Reward. Our client John Hamilton from Bellrock, said on a recent webinar with us that he ‘wished he had done it sooner’.
