Question time // Despite ongoing backlash against remote work, the benefits far outweigh the challenges. While remote work may have its difficulties, it offers tremendous advantages: greater flexibility, improved work-life balance, and a more inclusive environment for all employees. Research shows that working from home decreases the motherhood penalty - as businesses allow more of their employees to work remotely, the employment gap between women with children and those without narrows. Meanwhile, the backlash against remote working, mostly by wealthy white men, continues to rage on. If you want a company culture that works for all employees then stop demanding people get back to the office.
Enabled me to be both single mum and breadwinner, which could not have been possible in any other format.
Totally agree! 👍🏽 From my experience, engagement and collaboration haven’t decreased with remote work—I believe it’s all about setting up your teams up for success and reward great performance, no matter where they’re working from. Appreciation always goes a long way 👏🏼

2moThe 100% Project working remotely and/or from home has been a game changer and positively impacted my whole life. The way I work impacts on my wife & children too. I'd like to think it supports me being a better husband & father, but it also supports my wellbeing by giving me more sleep & exercise time. Further it leans in to my preferred working style & ability to focus uninterrupted.
