🚄 Milestone for High-Speed Rail in America! 🚄 The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has officially signed a $3 billion grant agreement with the Nevada Department of Transportation for Brightline West. Here are the key highlights: 🌟 Historic Grant: $3 billion awarded to Brightline West, America’s first true high-speed rail project. 🚅 High-Speed Travel: Connecting Southern California to Las Vegas with trains traveling over 200 mph. 🌍 Environmental Impact: Reducing traffic on I-15, removing 3 million cars from the road, and cutting over 400,000 tons of emissions annually. New overhead line equipment has been installed over a 36km stretch of the Midland Main Line allowing passengers to benefit from greener journeys, on quieter trains in the future.
