I've learned over the years that not all law firms post their open positions online. For many firms, especially boutique firms, they simply don't have the internal resources to sift through hundreds of resumes that they would get if they posted an open role on their website. So these firms rely heavily on legal recruiters to bring good candidates to their attention. Working with a legal recruiter provides attorneys with access to unposted roles that they wouldn't otherwise know about. This both expands the job pool and decreases the competition from other applicants. For the attorneys that I have placed at law firms, about a third of them were hired by firms that did not have the position posted online. Want to learn more about unposted positions in your practice area? Give me a call or email me at [email protected] (817) 673-2236
