This #WomensHistoryMonth, I want to pay tribute to the remarkable women who have broken barriers in order to push our society toward a more equitable reality. I look forward to engaging in our month-long series of celebrations and thought-provoking discussions to celebrate the resilience and achievements of women worldwide, while also reaffirming our commitment to cultivate a workplace that not only values but amplifies the diverse voices within our organization. An encouraging stat from a recent Forbes article noted that the percentage of women choosing to major in STEM fields has risen notably since 2010, with 45 percent of STEM students now being women. While there is still progress to be made in the ongoing pursuit of gender equality, I find assurance in the strides we’re making, setting the stage for the next generation of young women in STEM to thrive and succeed.
