How do you gain competitive advantage in a THC beverage market that is growing rapidly every month? I believe the core ingredients for success are a strong brand, superior distribution, and an advanced supply chain and manufacturing setup. Some companies possess maybe maybe one or two of these, but imagine having all three? In my most recent article of Spill The T (HC), I interviewed Angus Rittenburg, CEO of WHEREHOUSE BEVERAGE CO and CTO of WYNK™. In this piece I cover WHBEVCO's unique tech forward approach to the THC beverage space, as well Angus' insights on the hemp and cannabis markets, THC beverage dosing, and the ever changing regulatory landscape. Angus is definitely a visionary when it comes to the future of this category, and it was exciting to dig into the details on a number of topics. Thanks again to Caroline Brody and Angus Rittenburg for making this happen. #drinkcannabis #drinkhemp #cannabisbeverage #hempbeverage #delta9thc #spillthethc WYNK™ WHEREHOUSE BEVERAGE CO 5WPR Cannabis Beverage Association Hemp Beverage Alliance Forbes Business Insider Bloomberg Benzinga Cannabis https://lnkd.in/ePD-7bHt

Are US Chain Retailers the New Frontier for THC Products? The lines are blurring... Total Wine & More, a major wine retailer, is partnering with Bayou City Hemp Company to offer hemp-derived THC drinks in Texas and Louisiana. This is a significant move for the beverage industry, with established players dipping their toes into the cannabis space. This is just the beginning- cannabis doesn't seem to be going anywhere but up. With consumer demand surging, expect more partnerships like this one. Traditional retailers may become key players in the future of THC-infused beverages. Think there will be a 3-tier system for THC beverages? Stay ahead of the curve! EP Consulting can help navigate the complexities of distribution for this emerging market, similar to how we've guided clients in the traditional alcohol space. We can help ensure brands like reach the right customers while complying with evolving regulations. 📰: https://lnkd.in/dPE8Jzsk #cannabis #beverages #retail #innovation #THCbeverages #rtm

Are you developing a fantastic new food or beverage product but feeling lost in the maze of FDA labeling requirements? You're not alone—FDA regulations can be dense and tricky to navigate. At Bauhaus Brew Labs, we've mastered the TTB's labeling guidelines for our alcoholic beverages. However, as we've expanded into non-alcoholic lines, including our "Nah" non-alcoholic beers, Tetra hemp-derived cannabis beverages, and our upcoming functional beverages, we've had to dive deep into FDA labeling guidelines, which differ significantly from the TTB's. Fortunately, the FDA offers an excellent free publication on food and beverage labeling that has been invaluable to us. You can download it here: https://lnkd.in/gwhfTpXR. If you need further clarification after reviewing the guide, I'm here to help! Whether you need assistance with FDA or TTB labeling requirements, especially for non-alcoholic malt beverages (yes, the TTB has jurisdiction over labeling of NA beer), feel free to reach out. Let's navigate these regulations together and ensure your product meets all necessary standards.

Where does the emerging cannabis beverage industry fit into the schemes of positive regulations? Can DSHS work with compliant manufacturers and retailers to better understand the category? Can it be a middle between an established regulator like the TABC and professional groups like a craft brewers guild? What can a diserning consumer do to find resources as a customer enjoying the product, a retailer carrying the product, and or a wholesaler moving the product into unique markets? What is the verdict out there? Could it be that this new green wave is allowing for more widespread adaption of THC to curious consumers while avoiding the stigmas that have been associated with cannabis since the 60’s? I think so. Crack open a can and let’s figure out where this new sobriety movement fits into MTS manufacturing and CPG beverages. Craft beer is a platform for craft cannabis beverages in every form if it can be done safely. #atx Edit: this thought was opened up during my strength training session. Often through the struggle of sweat and listening to Jungle in the heat of summer opens up this kind of reflection. I would love to have a more in depth exploration with Hemp Beverage Alliance about this topic and what the TTB is looking at when it comes to help. This non profit seems like an ideal coalition to open up the conversation. Now the problem is through the classification that hemp sits under with the FDA. The conversations for fair regulation may sit with popularity through consumer impressions but food safety requirements hasn’t hit full steam. When’s the next open forum?
