NOT EVERYONE CHOOSES TO HEAL. So don't try and fix them (you are not Coldplay :D). Keep working on your own mental health and draw your boundaries around these individuals. Most of the time you are in therapy because of someone who needs therapy the most. It's the bitter truth of life. But remember by being HOPEFUL and reaching out for support you will keep progressing. 🌻 #therapy #healingthroughtherapy #clinicalpsychology #clinicalpsychologistUAE #clinicalpsychologistIndia #psychology #positivethoughts #positivepsychology

Being involved in an intimate relationship with person with living experience is not an easy task. However don't be taken aback though. First trying to get to know more about what they are going through. Going to therapy session together can be a good idea, however this has to be after a long and thorough discussion together. The main point is both of you are in it together. #neveralone #capacitybuilding #dontjumpthegun

Thriving Beyond Mental Health Challenges Contrary to previous research, a new study reveals a prior history of mental health disorders or substance abuse does not prevent a person from thriving and leading a high-functioning life. Past research on mental illness has focused mostly on chronic and recurring mood, anxiety, and substance-use disorders that keep people from thriving and enjoying life. New research published in the journal Clinical Psychological Science, however, reports that many people who have suffered from mental illness are able to thrive and lead a high-functioning life. Many of us have had suicidal thoughts at some point in our lives. Feeling suicidal is not a character defect. With time and support, you can overcome the pain and suicidal feelings can pass. Some of the finest, most admired, needed, and talented people have been there. Many of us have thought about taking our own lives when we’ve felt overwhelmed and devoid of all hope. But the pain can be treated and hope can be renewed. Reach out to a mental health therapist. There is no shame. Being in therapy doesn’t mean that you are crazy, or weak, or flawed. It only means that you are ready to take help to work with the pain. Therapy helps. #WSPD2024 #mentalhealth #suicideawareness #suicideprevention
