Childhood trauma is the cause of many mental health disorders and addictions. Western medicine including mental health has failed us in many ways. Childhood trauma has many faces and we need to be patient with those who still suffer. For somebody who has not gone through this, it seems one can just snap out of it by exercise, diet, and thinking positively. This is far from the truth. As a childhood abuse and trauma survivor, I dedicated my life and helped thousands of my clients heal without the need to rely on years of therapy and medication. I especially find it beneficial to use a combination of #CBT, #hypnosis, and #ketamineassisted psychotherapy. Let me know what you think? Free consultation www.ReleaseAnxietyNOW.com

This week’s #WednesdayRant poses a thought-provoking question: Could trauma drama addiction contribute to cognitive decline later in life? I’m exploring this topic, sharing some reflections on how the highs and lows we expose ourselves to may shape our long-term brain health. No answers, just curiosity and conversation. NOT EVERYONE CHOOSES TO HEAL. So don't try and fix them (you are not Coldplay :D). Keep working on your own mental health and draw your boundaries around these individuals. Most of the time you are in therapy because of someone who needs therapy the most. It's the bitter truth of life. But remember by being HOPEFUL and reaching out for support you will keep progressing. 🌻 #therapy #healingthroughtherapy #clinicalpsychology #clinicalpsychologistUAE #clinicalpsychologistIndia #psychology #positivethoughts #positivepsychology

Not to take anything away from the great work Patrick J. Kennedy does to help people, like himself, with co-occurring mental illness and addiction, but stigma is not the main reason half of people with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder do not seek treatment. Lack of insight, known as Anosognosia, should not be ignored when advocating for removing barriers to treatment and care. As DJ Jaffe used to say, someone who knows they're Jesus, is eating out of a dumpster and is disheveled with poor hygiene, does not care about what his friends think about him. He will not go to treatment because he knows he's Jesus. In his disconnected thinking, you are the one who needs his help. Offering panacea solutions only serves to divide further. When we talk about a full continuum of psychiatric treatment and care for people living with serious mental illnesses we must consider the whole problem, not just pieces of it. #Schizophrenia #ParanoidSchizophrenia #SignsOfSchizophrenia #BipolarDisorder #MentalHealth #CognitiveDistortions #Anosognosia #CognitiveBehavioralTherapy #PsychiatricDisorders #BrainHealth #SchizophreniaAwareness #SubstanceAbuse #Psychotherapy #SchizophreniaMedication #Findinggeniuspodcast #Healthpodcast #Internalmedicinepodcast #Biosciencespodcast https://lnkd.in/e6UQC-nw

Have you ever wondered how the experiences of past generations might be affecting your own mental health today? Intergenerational trauma happens when the effects of a traumatic event are passed down through families. If someone in a previous generation experiences something deeply distressing—like war, abuse, or discrimination—it can influence how they think, feel, and even how they raise their children. Without realising it, the emotional scars of the past can shape family dynamics and affect the mental health of future generations. The good news is that with awareness and support, these patterns can be understood and broken, leading to healing across generations. If this resonates with you or someone you know, reach out to me via DM to learn more about how therapy can help break the cycle and bring healing to your family 💚 #mentalhealth #psychology #trauma #intergenerationaltrauma
