2024 North Star → Help 1000 Founders 👨🚀 🚀 Today, we hit 275/1000 Founders directly helped by our team Why this goal? I am a huge fan of ‘create 100 raving fans’, which is where we started and I believe what we achieved in 2023. So, to up the ante and stretch the business, we set our eyes on 1000 Founders for 2024. How do we get there? Well, the larger the number has made us creative; 🚀 We launched Founder hour, monthly open calls for Founders leading sales 🤠 I reply to every message I get on this platform once a fortnight 🧠 We have created online resources to increase accessibility to great content 🥋 We run workshops with leading incubators, accelerators and founders 🥋 We coach 1:1 with Founders The investment is 100’s of hours of the team's time with no direct revenue outcomes, a big bet for a business less than two years old to be making. So, why are we doing it? Well, the truth is a sh!t load of people helped me when I started my first company in 2016, and now, I get to pay that good faith forward. But, I want to do it with scale. Through our efforts in this first half of the year on our mission to accelerate Founders leading sales across Australia, Founders have; 🔥 Booked their first meetings 🔥 Made their first sale 🔥 Closed their largest deal 🔥 Hired a new sales team member 🔥 Gained newfound confidence And the craziest part is this all starts on this platform and turns into a Linkedin chat, coaching call, a workshop, a mini resource in our newsletter. The outcome is a business closer to its revenue aspirations and a sustainable sales process, benefiting themselves, their families, the people they solve problems for, and the jobs created. So, how are we going to help 725 Founders by the end of the year? Well→ 🧗♀️ Events 🤼 Collaborations 👷♂️ Doing things that don’t scale 🪓 Chipping away one day at a time 🚀 New offerings that make a real impact The rules are simple: Help is when we have directly impacted or advised in a positive way to a Founder this does not include comments, sharing a link or a simple reply. This is where we directly see new learnings, shifts in behaviours, validation of help and ultimately sales outcomes. We track this in a table, and I’ve used the astronaut emoji to display the number of Founders each month helped so far this year.
