I had a good chat with a potential partner operating co-work spaces yesterday. We were looking at ways we can add-value to their members and community, particularly those building out their GTM teams. Here's some ideas for office hours for Hiring Manager & TA Teams. - Defining roles clearly - Compensation advice on GTM roles pan EMEA and North America - Employer Branding and talent attraction - Utilising multiple sourcing strategies - Candidate experience and selection - Tech Stack and Sourcing tools - Advice on hiring a remote and distributed team: advising on EOR and international hiring What else would you add?

Using part-time talent is the No. 1 to scale during peak season. But managing teams needs a careful strategy. Here's how the best brands do it: 1/ It starts at recruitment You want to establish a predictable, repeatable interviewing process that gets you the kind of people you know you want. Don't waste your time hiring, firing, and replacing teams during peak season. And ALWAYS hire a few more folks than you need. Worst case it costs a bit extra for redundancy, but the buffer can be priceless when there is churn. 2/ Onboarding A 10/10 onboarding plan has company info, details about the actual work, and an explanation of how people's actions impact business outcomes. It is game-changing for ownership when people know their work is leading to results. 3/ Define each person's one thing What one number or one thing is each person responsible for? Everyone on the team needs this: the main metric or process that they will work on each day. It could be inventory, tickets, updating dashboards, making cold calls etc. The focus is especially important for temporary resources: driving results with limited time is only enabled with focus. Oftentimes constraints breed the most creativity. 4/ Working hours Is it truly flexible hours or just part-time? Do you want them to just manage email tickets within 48 hours for two weeks or actually be available from 12-6 pm for live queries? Define this ahead of time. If you change around too much your work relationship will suffer 5/ Open Loops Hiring part-time talent is also an opportunity to cycle out bad-fit talent and retain the very best folks. It's motivating for people to know they have a shot at full-time roles if they excel. And you can intro great people to other roles in your network.
