This marks the first large-scale French investment in Poland's electromobility sector. Founded in 2017, ChargeEuropa plans to use the funds to deploy 1,000 new chargers, expand its team, and enter new markets. The company’s unique approach combines EV charging with media stands, aiming to make charging more accessible in high-traffic areas. “The involvement of international investors highlights the growing interest in Poland’s EV sector. 1️⃣1️⃣ years ago, precisely in this time of rebirth and renewal, my boss Fausto Boni, one of the most visionary investors I have ever met and my boss at 360 Capital at that time — told me there was an “opportunity”💣 with one of our telco sector portfolio companies, Electro Power Systems.  Even if the company had run out of cash and lacked purchase orders, he believed in me to decide between filing for bankruptcy and pursuing Chapter 11. By then, both the old CEO and CTO had left.  At 30, living with my wife in a two-room apartment, I decided to take over the technology, which had not succeeded in the telco space, betting on its potential in the energy storage market. Opting for the Chapter 1️⃣1️⃣ route, I founded EPS, now NHOA Group. Shortly thereafter a turning point: I met Giuseppe Artizzu and together we decided to list the company in Paris.  The first investor who believed in our IPO and put his trust in us was Algebris Investments. I remember it well, I was in London, the day after the birth of my first child.  Then came Daniele Rosati, the game changer, as with him we understood how to truly leverage that technology in the energy storage market. What followed is now history: ENGIE introduced us to the world (and brought us Stefano Terranova!), Stellantis validated our credibility in e-mobility (and brought us Mathilde Lheureux!), and then TaiwanCement Corporation (台泥企業團) accelerated our growth, introducing us to Nelson Chang, who reminded us that we are only at the beginning of our ascent, and our ambitions should be even grander! 1️⃣1️⃣ years have passed. Over 500 extraordinary friends have joined us, and thanks to their relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence, we are now among the world leaders in energy storage and e-mobility. In 2023, NHOA Group exceeded 270 million in revenues and both NHOA Energy and Free2move eSolutions turned EBITDA positive. We've raised over half a billion euros in the last 10 years and are investing hundreds of millions in Atlante, the largest electric vehicle charging network in Southern Europe. This is not just a story of resurrection; these are the opening chapters of a book we are writing together, a legacy we leave for future generations. Happy Easter, and please, take some well-deserved rest.  Next week, we will resume writing the next chapters of this journey, ready to set even higher standards for ourselves and the industry, for the sake of our children.  Today, as a father of three, I am more determined than ever not to leave them the world 🌍 in the condition I found it in.
