#ENGIENews ⚡ From Brazil to Australia, discover the latest news from our Group. 1️⃣ ENGIE España and Carrefour have signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), reinforcing Carrefour's consumption of electricity from renewable sources. The energy supply will come from 4 ENGIE assets (2 wind farms and 2 solar farms), representing around 180 GWh/year. 2️⃣ The ENGIE Brasil Energia’s Serra do Assuruá Wind Complex, state of Bahia, is now operating commercially. The first 15 generator units began commercial operations. This initial commercial activity represents 8% of the total installed capacity. 3️⃣ ENGIE AU has reached Financial Close for the Goorambat East Solar Farm project in northern Victoria. The project involves the construction, commissioning and operation of a 250 MW solar farm. Once completed, the solar farm could generate enough electricity to power the equivalent of 105,000 average Victorian homes, helping to bolster energy security in the state.
