Birmingham, the UK's second largest city is a hub of entrepreneurialism. Emerging in YFM Equity Partners' research for The Entrepreneur Economy 6th in the UK for business creation. The city secured 15th place in the UK’s top 30 entrepreneurial cities. As one of the country’s best-connected regional cities, Birmingham has become a leading location for a range of sectors including advanced engineering, technology, and financial and professional services.   Business survival rate is however one of the lowest in the UK at just 26%.
