Recent reports reveal a critical crisis in NHS cancer care, with significant delays affecting hundreds of thousands of patients. Key findings include: - Cancer Research UK: Since 2015, 382,000 patients in England have experienced treatment delays due to staff and equipment shortages, missing the NHS target of starting treatment within 62 days. - Royal College of Radiologists: Workforce shortages are causing weekly treatment delays at nearly half of UK cancer centers, a figure that has almost doubled since last year.
