Valuable #recruitment market update from APSCo and James C. at Vacancysoft this morning. At 1st Executive Ltd we've seen many of our UK clients focus on expanding their geographic footprint through the use of "medium cost locations" over recent years, in order to help attract and retain a more diverse workforce, however the latest YTD stats suggest the potential of a return to #london centric hiring strategies. Whilst the dial has only moved marginally with 41% of total vacancies YTD in London (vs 38% in 2023), it could be the sign of things to come. I thought it interesting to note that whilst industry specific trends often impact the findings, the Financial & Professional services market as a whole has contracted slightly in terms of total vacancy volumes YTD (albeit this contradicts the significant growth that we've experienced in #procurement and #suppliermanagement hiring YTD vs 2023 in these markets!). As always, feel free to reach out to myself or the team at 1st Exec should you need specific market insight to support you H2 hiring plans and talent strategy. #procurementjobs #supplychainjobs
