Earlier in the week a friend told me (read: accused me) of been quiet lately on LinkedIn, especially with the results from COP29 Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 in Baku. But this was not intentional, and without merit. Truth is, I’ve been busy. I’ve spent 4 out of the 5 past weeks on the road meeting clients from New York, Atlanta all the way to Nairobi and Cape Town. Most rewarding of all, was our recent project site visit with the Valitera team — our co-heads of trading; Vincent Verweij, Matt Udberg, and my advisory team Matthew Cooper and Edward Smith — and our project partners (more to come about them in the coming months… for now this is just a tease). There’s really nothing like seeing the impact of climate finance on the ground. I know that we’ve all come back from the trip reinvigorated and motivated as to *why* we choose to work in carbon markets. Also Olaf Verweij and I have been working on some exciting content for the Carbon Exposure Project where we will feature projects on the ground. From Kenya and soon, New Zealand. Oh and I went to Baku for 24h on the DL. And yes, I’ll eventually publish my thoughts on the circus from COP29. Anyway, here are some snaps I took along the way. Plus teasers of what’s to come…

Beautiful photos Rene Velasquez. Don’t feel guilty for being quiet.
And what a great experience it was! Many exciting things to come, I can’t wait to share them! 👀
Doing is far more important than commenting.
The photos are everything.
Where can I get some merchandise?
