“By incorporating Tarot into the coaching process, coaches can stimulate their clients’ imagination and intuition.” 🌟 This quote, drawn from an insightful article by Rachel Hope and Shirley Attenborough, highlights a fascinating intersection between coaching and the art of Tarot. By blending structured methodologies with intuitive exploration, Tarot offers coaches a unique tool to unlock creativity and reveal hidden insights for their clients. For professional coaches, this approach isn’t about mysticism—it’s about using symbolism to deepen self-awareness and inspire innovative solutions. In today’s complex coaching landscape, integrating such creative techniques can truly elevate the coaching experience. 🎙️ Want to dive deeper into this topic? Join us on the Beyond The Page Podcast, releasing this Wednesday, where we’ll feature Rachel Hope, one of the article's co-authors, discussing how Tarot can transform coaching practices. 💬 How do you incorporate creativity into your coaching practice? Let us know in the comments!

Was an absolute pleasure to appear on the Super States podcast with Joshua Peters talking about the differences between coaching, therapy, and mentoring, and the misconceptions around the industry🎙 Some of the key takeaways: 🎯 Find joy in your career by pursuing your own version of success. 🎯 Coaching is a self-reflective and equal relationship that helps individuals find their own answers. 🎯 Lifelong learning is essential for coaches to continuously improve and serve their clients better. 🎯 The coaching industry is evolving with the integration of artificial intelligence and a greater focus on emotional transformation. 🎯 Understanding neurodiversity and individual differences can lead to more effective coaching and personal growth. 🌟 New Podcast Episode: When Good People Become Bad Actors in the Coaching Space 🌟 In my latest episode, I sit down with Rose Siobhán Esteva to tackle an issue that’s affecting the heart of the coaching industry: the harmful marketing techniques many coaches are unknowingly being taught. With compassion and clarity, Rose explains how even good, well-intentioned coaches can fall into the trap of using manipulative practices—because they’ve learned them from a few bad actors. But we don’t stop at pointing out the problem. We also dive into: 🔥 How to spot and avoid these predatory tactics 🔥 Building a coaching practice rooted in ethics and real transformation 🔥 The importance of self-awareness and reflection to prevent becoming one of "those coaches". We’ve been working on this for over a year now and we are super excited to share that our new season is out on the 14th of May! This season is dedicated to Executive Coaching with Transactional Analysis. This is a tool we are both passionate about, we have gained a lot from personally and both use it in our own coaching practice. We want to share the methodology and get people excited about it, because it is incredibly accessible and a powerful coaching tool. We wanted to keep the theory to a minimum. In the first episodes we talk about how Transactional Analysis relates to and can be used in coaching as well as covering the drama triangle. The following episodes center around two avatars who go through classic issues that many of our coaching clients experience. We use these examples to demonstrate how you might use this methodology to support your clients with similar challenges. Listen in if you are a coach who wants to bring TA into your coaching, or someone who has worked with a coach and would like to deepen their learning and understanding. Those who manage coaching for their organisations may also be interested in finding out more. Or you may just be someone who just wants to use this tool for their own personal development. We hope you enjoy this series and get enthused about the potential for Transactional Analysis in coaching. Follow us on your favourite podcasting channel to get episode updates! #transactionalanalysis #executivecoaching #coachingtools #coaching #coachingpodcast #humanresources

Stoked to share I’ve completed the Co-Active Training Institute Coaching Course! 😎 105 hours of hands on, vulnerable, learning. Am I an expert? Obviously not! Has my understanding of what Coaching is evolved? Definitely. I’ve said it before: Coaching isn’t giving advice. It isn’t telling someone what to do. It’s a set of tools to ask questions, deepen experiences, and hold space for someone to find their own answers. A big thank you to Co-Active Training, all my leaders and peers. The relationships we formed are powerful and we will continue to feel the ripples of momentum. If you’ve got 13 minutes and care to hear my learnings about coaching. Check out my recent podcast episode 🙂 And if your curious to learn more about coaching. You know who to reach out to 😉 . https://lnkd.in/g8G3J7xj

It’s time to finally have the structure, accountability & support to get out of your own way, and make real (meaningful) progress. As I update my current clients on the schedule for July, it occurred to me - you might be thinking of joining and wondering… “What is the schedule?” - it's below “Will I get coaching directly with Nik?” - yep, I run the whole thing, I don’t outsource anything “How often is coaching available?” - it’s weekly but if you can’t (or don’t want to attend live, you can fill out a coaching form 24/7) And the best bit?? You don’t even need to get coached yourSELF to benefit - just by listening to the other coaching calls on the private podcast will often give you the answers you’ve been seeking. So, about that schedule… GOAL REVIEWS & COACHING - THURS 4 JUL 1pm COACHING - WED 10 JUL 1:30pm COACHING - TUES 16 JUL 12pm COACHING - THURS 25 JUL 9:15am WORKSHOP - THURS 18 JUL 9:15am JUL ‘REFLECT & GOAL SET’ - TUES 18 JUL 9:15am And of course, in addition to the above - we start every week with Hour One (9am) where you kick your week off feeling powerful, in control and intentional …yes, that’s available on replay too! "Coaching: To Be or Not to Be" is the title of an article written for choice, the magazine of professional coaching. And today, I had the pleasure of making a guest appearance on their "Beyond the Page" podcast. The editor, Garry Schleifer, PCC, for everything choice posed an interesting question - 'Knowing what I know now, what - if anything - would I do differently?' This is a great question. It's one that I revisit every Fall as I plan for the coming years. But you know, even though I had a strategy as I journeyed through coaching of PAUSE, PREPARE AND PRIORITIZE, I think if I had done things differently, I might not have experienced some valuable lessons learned, met some expert mentors or made insights into who I was becoming as a coach. If you have or are embarking on a coaching journey, what- if anything - would you have done or would do differently? Read my latest article in its entirety, especially if you are interested in becoming a coach of any type. You'll find it attached below as it was published in, and reproduced with permission from, choice, the magazine of professional coaching (www.choice-online.com). Or, check it out in your latest issue. If you don't subscribe to coach but are entertaining the possibility of becoming one, use the magazine as an invaluable resource. Feel free to use my special coupon code, AUTHOR25, to receive a 25% discount off a print, digital or combo subscription: https://lnkd.in/drr57aT. Also, the offer I made during the podcast stands for those who want to really work through the pros/cons of becoming a coach. #coaching #BTP #podcast #coachmagazine #becomingacoach
