Another stride for the Esports industry as Hisense Group Holdings, one of China's largest home appliance brands, sponsors its first Esports competition – the King Pro League, China's leading Honor of Kings competition. This development, as reported by the Esports Advocate, signifies a turning point as traditional companies begin venturing into the Esports market. Hisense, known for its avid sponsorship of global football events, brings added credibility and visibility to the Esports scene. Their decision to sponsor an Esports competition further attests to the growing global attractiveness of Esports. It's worth noting that this announcement follows TiMi Studios' commitment early this year to grow the game's international Esports ecosystem with a $15M USD investment. The engagement of brands like Hisense in Esports sponsorships is a strong indicator of the potential the industry holds. Not only does the sector present an exciting new frontier for established business enterprises, but it also offers newcomers a wealth of opportunities in the ever-evolving gaming landscape. Winzard, as a seasoned expert in the Gaming and Esports markets, anticipates further industry growth as traditional corporations recognise the value and potential in this rapidly advancing market. #Hisense #Esports #GamingIndustry #Sponsorship #Winzard

Our Head of Sales, Oliver N. has been talking to G3 Media about how esports could be an untapped goldmine for operators and focuses on the biggest esports tournaments taking place throughout the remainder of 2024. 🏆 Esports is now a top vertical for operators, and the remainder of this year offers a unique window for operators to invest in esports betting and tap into some of the biggest tournaments in the space. 🕹️ Tournament-wise, ‘The Big 3’ are Counter-Strike, League of Legends, and Dota 2. These esports giants continue to be high-yield performers. The IEM Rio Counter-Strike event in October, followed by the Counter-Strike 2 Major in Shanghai in November, offers huge opportunities, particularly in North and South America. Counter-Strike remains a betting favourite, with player-focused BetBuilder wagers providing both volume and value. 📈 Kicking off in September and running through November, League of Legends World Championship is a global event that gives operators a chance to build month-long campaigns that develop with the tournament, keeping engagement high throughout. 🎮 Operators that capitalise on this growing vertical can take advantage of new revenue streams with tournaments offering high-quality content and betting opportunities. 💰 Read more: https://lnkd.in/ewAfv8gs Are you ready to capture your share of the esports betting boom? We’re looking back to when our Head of Sales, Oliver N., featured on the Hipther Talks Premier Podcast “Betting on the Future - Exploring the Booming Esports Market with PandaScore.” 🎤 Oli shared his insights on what has driven the growth of esports betting over the past few years, including the expansion of challenger markets such as Australia and Brazil and how the proliferation of technology and the relationship with data has been a key contributor across the board. 📈 Esports is still about potential and opportunity and operators that have partnered with a dedicated esports supplier like PandaScore have seen an upward growth of around 40% on bet volume. ⬆️ Oli discussed how the US represents one of the biggest opportunities for new markets with 8 or 9 states that now have specific regulations in place for esports betting. With our recent licence acquisition in the state of Colorado, PandaScore is armed and ready to support operators in taking advantage of the opportunity stateside. 🇺🇸 Oli also described Brazil and Columbia as sleeping giants in the LatAm market and explained how new esports products are being pushed out across major iGaming and sports betting brands in the UK. 🇬🇧 Check out the full podcast here for more insights from Oli and the lowdown on our latest innovations: 🐼 https://lnkd.in/dUywbQH9 #HiptherTalks #Esports #DataDrivenProducts #Innovation #EsportsBetting #PandaScore

Traditional online sportsbooks have so far been reluctant to embrace esports, but this is proving to be a missed opportunity. This is mostly due to fears over integrity and offering markets on contests and tournaments featuring underage athletes ✅ But despite this, esports has taken the world by storm and is hugely popular in a growing number of markets and jurisdictions that operators are looking to target with their sportsbook brands. According to a Newzoo study (https://lnkd.in/emageDxf), the global esports audience is set to hit 577 million viewers by the end of 2024 with significant interest coming from Latin America 🌎 Stefanos Patsourakos, our Regional Sales Director, recently spoke with G3Newswire.com / G3 Media and highlighted the benefits esports can bring to operators. He also shared insights into why bettors are increasingly drawn to fast-paced esports content and the reasons behind its growing popularity ⬆️ Read it here: https://lnkd.in/e3ffwRNd #BETER #esports #betting #LATAM #fastbetting

OpTic Gaming have partnered with Italian based Juventus Football Club. The partnership aims to “bridge the gap between traditional sports and esports” with social media content, limited-edition co-branded merch, and video content featuring competitors + influencer teams. Both parties will also launch unique on-site activations to support each other’s competitions. The first collaboration sees Scump, Methodz, Hitch, and H3CZ from OpTic traveling to Italy to access Juventus facilities and attend a Juventus match. This type of sports x esports collaboration has been well known with Manchester United partnering with FaZe Clan and Gen.G, as well as Paris Saint-Germain partnering with various esports orgs for team joint-naming in esports like Dota 2 and League of Legends. It will be interesting to which party sets to gain more from these partnerships (sports fans engaging more with esports, or vice versa).
