#ICYMI, NGA Director of Data and Digital Innovation, Mark Munsell, recently spoke at the Intelligence and National Security Alliance #IntelSummit24 on NGA’s efforts training #AI algorithms on its unique trove of visual and textual data. “We’re sitting on two big sets of data, a gold mine of data, where we have images that nobody else in the world has,” said Munsell in reference to NGA’s archive of satellite imagery and intelligence reports. Justin Meyers I don’t believe the point of the post was to boast about the amount of data, it was to boast about the innovations to utilize that data more efficiently and actively. And that’s wonderful news for our county.
