Spotify for Podcasters has added listen time and consumption hours to their analytics dashboards. 👏 For years, the only platform giving you this insight was Apple Podcasts. Anytime we did a data review with clients, it sounded like, “The data isn’t exhaustive because only Apple provides…” At the time, this wasn’t that big of a deal since Apple Podcasts made up 90%+ of all listening. Spotify is now the top dawg. So this new insight is a big deal for brands. It allows you to understand one key insight: time spent with brand. Imagine telling your key stakeholders our audience spent X hours with us last month. Take both Apple + Spotify insights to help you tell the fuller picture of your show’s impact.
