Repurposing is Not Syndicating
CEO & Founder at Content 10x | B2B Content Marketing Agency | Author, speaker & podcast host | We create, repurpose & distribute content | Past life: Management Consultant - M&A, outsourcing, change
A podcast transcript does not maketh a blog post! Podcast show notes for Spotify do not make a LinkedIn post. Don't force content created for one medium into another. One of the biggest mistakes that I see people make when they create and repurpose content is not adjusting the format and style for different platforms and audiences. All content is a form of communication - we create content to share a story or a message. But the way we share it should vary in different situations. If I'm explaining to my gran what I do for a living, I'm going to explain in a completely different way to if I were explaining to a fellow marketing professional. Essentially, the same message, but packaged differently. For example, a podcast is great for long-form engaging conversations. But you then need to do the work to find the repurposed content that is platform and audience focused. Write an informative blog post vs. sharing a long transcript of the conversation as a blog post. Find the various angles and perspectives that can be shared in the first-person as LinkedIn posts. Look for the snappy insights and tips that can become short-form videos recorded specifically for TikTok. Same message. Matched for the medium and audience. A winning formula! #contentrepurposing #platformspecificcontent #contentmarketingstrategies

Why do you upload podcast clips on YouTube shots in 2024 ?? YouTube Shorts have emerged as a powerful tool for podcast promotion, especially when combined with trending keywords for platforms like LinkedIn. With attention spans dwindling and the digital landscape becoming increasingly crowded, leveraging Shorts offers several distinct advantages for podcasters looking to expand their audience reach and engagement. Firstly, YouTube Shorts provide a bite-sized format perfectly suited for capturing viewers' attention in today's fast-paced world. By condensing podcast content into short, visually engaging snippets, creators can deliver quick, impactful messages that resonate with audiences scrolling through their feeds. This format is ideal for promoting podcast episodes, offering teasers or highlights to entice listeners to tune in for more. Moreover, YouTube Shorts are optimized for mobile viewing, tapping into the growing trend of consuming content on smartphones. With a significant portion of online traffic now originating from mobile devices, podcasters can capitalize on this trend by crafting Shorts that are easily digestible and shareable across social media platforms, including LinkedIn. In summary, YouTube Shorts offer podcasters a versatile and effective platform for promoting their content to a broader audience, particularly when paired with trending keywords for platforms like LinkedIn. By leveraging the power of short-form video, mobile optimization, creative expression, and community engagement, podcasters can enhance their visibility, drive listener engagement, and ultimately grow their podcast audience in a competitive digital landscape. #podcast #YouTube #shots #reels #viral #host #benifits_of_rerls #podcasteditor #podcastreel #18may #18 #2024 #treanding #may

Thinking about sharing videos on Youtube? Check this out... 👇 I think it's safe to say that getting in front of the camera can be scary, or at least it is for me. If it is for you too, then you need to hear this. I recently hosted a podcast with the one and only, Karin Carr, a national speaker on video marketing with more than 19 years of experience as a realtor. There was one thing that Karin said that really stood out to me when we were talking. She said, "But people build it up into their heads as this horrible, big, scary thing, and then they never, ever do it. And it just... I mean, I understand why, but if they knew what was waiting for them on the other side, they would never let it hold them back." Have you ever let fear hold you back from doing something you really want to do? I know I have. And when Karin said this, I thought to myself, "Why did I keep myself from doing it? What did I miss out on by holding back?" Who cares what people think about you? Because they're not gonna be calling you to tell you... You don't have to be good at something to start. You just have to start. You want to get on Youtube? Just do it. No one expects you to be perfect. But I can tell you one thing, you will get better and it will become less scary. And when you make it to the other side and you look back on the leads that came from a new platform such as YouTube, you'll be thankful that you simply just started. • • • • • #coreopscollective #realestateoeprations #realestateops #realestateadvice #realestatesuccess #realestate #YouTube #youtubechannel #youtubeadvice #youtubefollowers #youtuberealestate #leadgen #leadgeneration

Why I believe YouTube will dominate podcasting in 2025 Creators are motivated by opportunities to grow, engage, and earn sustainably — and YouTube delivers on all three. The shift is already happening. Here's why I predict YouTube will lead podcasting: 1. Superior data & transparency YouTube offers creators unparalleled access to data and analytics - and in a transparent nature that is only advantageous. You can track not only who’s watching & how they engage but see data on other creators content to inform the likelihood your next episode will 'be a banger' (as the kids say). 2. Discoverability The YouTube algorithm is one of the most powerful tools for organic reach. Unlike traditional audio platforms, YouTube actively works using 'Search' & 'Recommended' to surface your content to the right audience, even years after you’ve published it. 3. Monetisation With ads, memberships, and integrations, YouTube provides multiple avenues for creators to earn - and with a much lower barrier to entry than what’s possible with audio-only platforms. 4. Community building Comments, live chats, and community posts make it easier to interact directly with listeners. This fosters a loyal audience and allows people to feel part of something and like they belong, a must have for retention Podcasting has long been rooted in audio-first experiences, but YouTube brings undeniable advantages with its ecosystem. There are absolutely challenges here (effort, time, money, skill, a requirement for actual talent etc.) but if you’re a podcaster, now’s the time to start experimenting with doubling down on YouTube. Don't just tickbox post on it - deep-dive the platform and optimise for it. It’s not a question of if, but when. Do you agree? Come at me you purists, I bet you can't resist! 😜 OK bye #podcasting #youtube #bishbosh #creatoreconomy
