👏 Shoutout to Bobbie for this marketing masterclass: https://lnkd.in/dzH-CaCH 🤰 ICYMI: There was a big controversy earlier this year where Molly Baz's Times Square Swehl billboard was taken down because it showed too much of her pregnant belly and milk-filled boobs. A few companies rallied to get her ad back up. 🍼 Then, Bobbie found out that Molly was transitioning to using formula for her baby and made her front and center of their marketing campaign. This was very smart for a few reasons: ➡️ For someone in the target audience, the news around this has been unmissable, and they found an authentic/non-cringe way to jump into the cultural conversation in real-time ➡️ The way they addressed this controversy is perfectly related to their mission: Bobbie is working to shake the stigma and evolve the conversation around how you feed your baby to one of confidence, not comparison, from how we feed to what we feed. ➡️ Molly has a ton of influence, especially in the food world (highly recommend her cookbook!) ➡️ The "Everybody's Gotta Eat" tagline is spot on. It taps into Molly's love for food and Bobbie's love for food. If you don't already, follow Kim Chappell for some great marketing wisdom. What other things do you like (or not like) about this campaign? #marketing #insights #strategy
I absolutely love what Bobbie did here and it feels so triumphant for Molly and moms everywhere! Plus the billboard itself is gorgeous. p.s. This would have made an amazing feature in the Pollinatr!!!!
