It was a privilege to be part of the discussions at the #WomeninLeadershipsummit last week, exploring the invaluable role of women in shaping leadership dynamics across industries. Former US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Leigh Sales AM, Elizabeth Gaines, Anna Lee, Virginia Briggs, Kelly Wood, Nora Fraser, amongst others generously shared their insights and invaluable advice. I had the chance to share my experiences on how to drive higher levels of performance by combining the "business of love" with "the love of business". Here are four of my favourite take-outs (from a long list) – a blend of my perspectives, and those graciously shared by others: 1. The power of the “Jedi Council”: As leaders, cultivating a trusted circle, our very own "Jedi Council" or "Stable of 6," is transformative. These are the individuals we turn to for wisdom, support, and mentorship. Together, we amplify each other's strengths and navigate challenges with resilience and grace. 2. Taking charge when in charge: Leadership often demands seizing the reins and leading with conviction. When entrusted with responsibility, it's essential to embrace it wholeheartedly, and make decisions that drive progress and inspire those around us. 3. Prioritise self-care: Remember, taking holidays isn't an act of indulgence, it's a necessity. As leaders, we must replenish our energy reserves to continue making a meaningful impact. Avoid the trap of martyrdom; instead, prioritise self-care to fuel your ability to give energy and create lasting change. 4. Embrace ambition: Ambition often conjures up images of ruthless, ‘at all costs’ operators. But harnessed authentically, it is critical to leadership success, Ambition fuels our aspirations and propels us toward our goals. Let's dare to dream big, and act boldly; setting our sights high and turning aspirations into reality. Let's keep this dialogue alive and thriving! Share your thoughts on women in leadership, and how we can continue empowering one another. Together, we can achieve remarkable feats and inspire future generations of leaders. Keep shining brightly, and let's continue empowering each other to reach unprecedented heights! #WomenInLeadership #Empowerment #LeadershipInsights #AmbitionAndImpact Unilever

"Diversity Drives Success: The Power of Women Leaders in Organizations" In today's global business landscape, diversity isn't just a buzzword—it's a proven catalyst for success. Organizations with a healthy representation of women leaders consistently outperform their less diverse counterparts. The numbers speak for themselves: McKinsey's 2020 report found that companies in the top quartile for gender diversity on executive teams were 25% more likely to have above-average profitability. A recent ToI article by Shilpa Phadnis covering the women leaders in the GCC space and the impact they have been able to deliver was extremely impressive on how women leaders are supercharging their parent organization. ANSR exemplifies this trend, boasting an impressive 42% women representation in its leadership team. This diversity has been instrumental in ANSR's remarkable achievement of helping establish over 50 Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in last 4 years —a testament to the power of inclusive leadership. Diverse teams bring varied perspectives, fostering innovation and better decision-making. Women leaders often bring strong emotional intelligence and collaborative skills, enhancing team dynamics and client relationships. A recent ANSR study revealed that companies with more diverse management teams have 19% higher innovation revenues. ANSR's success story sets an aspirational tone for the world, demonstrating that gender-diverse leadership isn't just the right thing to do—it's a strategic advantage. As more organizations embrace diversity, we can expect to see increased innovation, improved performance, and more inclusive global business practices. Lalit Ahuja Vikram Ahuja Avneet H. True leadership isn’t defined by a title—it’s defined by the impact you make. Inspire, uplift, and lead with purpose. It’s not the role you play, but the goals you chase that change the game. 💪✨ Women are redefining leadership in today’s climate through: 1. Empathy and Emotional Intelligence: Women leaders are increasingly recognized for fostering inclusive environments and leading with empathy, making workplaces more supportive and resilient. 2. Collaborative Decision-Making: Many women leaders are embracing collaboration over hierarchy, encouraging diverse perspectives and teamwork, leading to more innovative and inclusive solutions. 3. Driving Social Impact: Women leaders are often at the forefront of pushing for social responsibility, sustainability, and diversity, aligning business success with positive societal change. #LeadWithPurpose #InspireToLead #ChaseGreatness

We consider ourselves lucky to have so many women leading our organization. And during #womenshistorymonth, we’d like to celebrate the women leaders that are helping make history for Vantage and our network locations from Europe to the Caribbean and across North America. We’d also like to highlight some compelling reasons why women leaders can have a transformative impact on a company. 🤲 Enhanced Collaboration and Communication: Women leaders tend to foster open communication and collaboration. Their inclusive leadership style encourages team members to share ideas, leading to innovative solutions and stronger bonds within the organization. ⚖ Balanced Decision-Making: A diverse leadership team ensures a broader range of perspectives. Women leaders bring unique insights, challenging the status quo and promoting well-rounded decision-making. 📈 Improved Organizational Performance: Studies consistently show that gender-diverse leadership teams lead to better financial performance. When women are at the helm, companies thrive, innovate, and adapt more effectively. 👩🏫 Role Models for the Next Generation: Women leaders inspire young professionals, showing them that they too can break barriers and achieve greatness. Representation matters, and women in leadership positions pave the way for future leaders. Let’s celebrate the women leaders who drive positive change every day. 🙌🏽 Together, we can create workplaces that empower everyone, regardless of gender. 💪🏼 #WomenInLeadership #DiversityMatters #Empowerment Cathie Puckering Folasade (Sade) Olanipekun-LewisEileen HansonSuzette Noble Katie Knight Klaudia FitzGerald Eleni Kaloyirou Vernice Walkine Courtney Burns, CPA, CA
